Two Things To Look Out For at Tokyo Skytree with Travelgirl

As I introduced yesterday, you can see some great views of Tokyo from Skytree. There are a few things you can do and I have found the two things below were something worth trying. Of course, these are my recommendation and I hope you would enjoy the great experience we had when you visit Skytree.

The first one will have to be the photo with the city view behind you at Tembo Deck. The best part is they will take a photo with their camera then after another one with your own. Then you check the photo they have taken for you and if you like it, you can of course purchase it to take home. The best part is you can also download the digital version while in Japan (important note!) so you can send them to friends and family for 1500 yen. We did end up taking a photo as the line was very short and bought the photo as I haven’t taken a nice photo with my mum for some time. The seat is enough for 4+ people so there is plenty of room for a family/friends photo.

The other thing I recommend is send a postcard from the tower. This can only be done at the floor below the Tembo Deck near the stairs. You can buy a nice postcard and a stamp from the cashier. Write your message and then drop it in the post box up at the tower. How cool is that! My postcard arrived around 1 week after I posted it and the little ones loved it.

There are actually a few more things to do and lots to buy so do allocate a few hours at least to visit Skytree. Not to mention there is a massive shopping centre below with tax free centre to claim on your purchases!
