Let's go fishing!

Hello everyone! How are you? I hope that you are all safe and healthy.

Me and my nephews went fishing at the river one day to get something for lunch.

But not the usual fishing method like using fishing line or fishing net. We used a device that has a battery and has a electric capability. This device stuns the fish to make it easier to catch with bare hands. But if you're not fast enough to grab the stunned fish the effect of the electric stunner wear off and the fish will swim away fast.

We scour every corner of the river to find the fish that are hiding.

We also searched even every holes at the riverbank and rocks along the river.

After some time my nephew caught a catfish!
There's a big smile and a confidence booster.

As we continue to search the river, we caught some shrimps.

We also caught a fish that we call bunog on our local language.

After 2 hours at the river, we caught enough for our lunch.

We caught also some eels, frogs, some river carp and tilapias.

We got home exactly before lunch time and we cooked our catch to be eaten for our lunch.
