MY PAINTING OF THE FANTA DRINK (PINEAPPLE FLAVOUR) Logo.

It's nice writing/posting here for the first time after many months on waiting. I have to come to realize that there's a community to appreciate the works of people like myself, and I'll be sharing one with it procedures below.

Final Look!

I made this about two months ago and luckily for me, I still have some of the pictures for the procedures, and I would love you guys to kindly pay attention to the growth below. Thanks.

I started this poster colour painting after I had decided to the product logo I wanted to work on which was Fanta, I started with a well detailed and graphical sketch of everything that makes up the logo, I'm so sorry, I don't have any pictorial evidence for that anymore but that was what I did first, and then I started to mix up my needed colour on standby before I started painting.

I laid my principal colour which happens to be the yellow-brown you see on the background of the logo. I laid the background twice in other to gain the solidity needed and I also use the paper-tape to hold my cardboard firm and to keep my paints in and not outside the design box.

That's the finished work but there's something very tedious about this painting but it is a graphical one and I needed to pay more attention to every details since I am imitating an initial logo. There was no much freehand painting except on the background as I needed to pay more attention to every details. I finished up the painting in 2 hours.

Equipment Used.

  1. Drawing board
  2. Cardboard
  3. Poster colour (Nataraj product)
  4. Sable brushes (size 2,4,6, & 12)
  5. Paper-tape
  6. Palette (improvised version (soft drinks bottle covers.))
  7. Water.

I hope you guys love the artwork above, I also did another one of Sprite but it's totally painful that I'm left with just a picture of the finished work.

You properly represented the banner. I've always wanted to do something like this but I'm bad at it

Yeah... You could try it out. I'm not really a fan of digital arts.
