Here today with some updates to share on the fun we’ve been having cleaning the lake property of my uncle!

Sweat Equity

It’s rewarding doing things ourselves. My uncles house has a beautiful amount of land and even it’s own private little beach! It didn’t get much love over the past few years for various reasons but thankfully we came to clean things up for him and us!

The beach below was far more overgrown than you can see here but we keep forgetting to take a picture before we do anything! You can see the changes with this one though. We moved, well rather @cmplxty moved lol, the big rocks out of the way and we both did a lot of trimming to a lot of the overgrown tree branches. There also wasn’t a good path down to the water so we cleaned a lot of that up so you could get there.

Up at the house there’s also a lot of vines, bushes, shrubs and just a bunch of junk. We started cleaning this area that was trying to take over the house. The whole spot was covered in weeds, vines and deadfall. We cleaned half of it before we remembered to take a picture lol oops. It’s still got a lot more to go but it was getting hot so we decided to finish up for the day.

Chilling

We ended the day by relaxing at the water. My uncle brought out a float so the little one could enjoy it and we tied a rope to it. He had a lot of fun with @cmplxty pushing him out then letting the tide push him back in!
