Over the past weekend, a large-scale event after coronavirus was held in the Czech Republic for the first time. It was a well-known Bohemia Rallye competition, which takes place in the northern part of the republic. With a few friends we decided to attend the rally. One of the friends is also a commentator of these competitions. So he was the one who chose the places we were going to watch the race. The first place was interesting because the later champion of the republic left the track here last year.
Během uplynulého víkendu se v České republice poprvé konala akce velkého rozsahu po koronaviru. Jednalo se o známou soutěž Rallye Bohemia, která se jezdí v severní části republiky. S pár kamarády jsme se rozhodli tuto rally navštívit. Jedním z kamarádů je i komentátor těchto soutěží. Takže on byl ten, který vybíral místa kam se pojedeme sledovat závod. První místo byl zajímavé tím, že zde v minulém roce vyjel z trati pozdější mistr republiky.
Upon arrival at the place, it was clear that the entertainment would be taken care of. There were many cars with foreign license plates. The Germans and Poles were the most represented, and the place lived accordingly. Both of these nations rally races live and so it was constantly cheered on by everyone involved. All the more so when someone flew off the track. Immediately, a crowd of spectators rushed to the scene of the accident and immediately pushed the car back onto the road.
Už při příjezdu k místu bylo jasné že bude o zábavu postaráno. Stálo zde mnoho aut se zahraničními poznávacími značkami. Největší zastoupení měli Němci a Poláci a podle toho místo žilo. Oba tyto národy rally závody žijí a tak se neustále fandilo všem zúčastněným. O to více když někdo vylétl z trati. Ihned se na místo nehody přihnal hlouček diváků a okamžitě tlačil auto zpět na silnici.
Fortunately, all accidents went without injuries or damage to the vehicles. Therefore, it was time to move to the next place. As in the previous case, the second place was chosen where 15 incidents with punctured tires occurred in the previous year.
Naštěstí se všechny nehody obešly bez zranění či poškození vozidel. Proto byl čas se přesunout na další místo. Jako v minulém případě bylo jako druhé vybráno místo, kde se v předchozím roce stalo 15 incidentů s proraženými pneumatikami.
Unlike last year, the critical point was very well marked with a wooden stick and so nothing serious happened here.
Narozdíl od minulého roku bylo kritické místo velmi dobře označeno dřevenou tyčkou a tak se zde nic závažného nestalo.
When photographing these races, it is important to stay safe. Here you can see from what distance I photographed the cars. Of course, I was behind a large tree and an escape plan in the event of a serious accident. The photo shows the third man in the overall Huttunen Jari / Lukka Mikko classification on the Hyundai i20 R5.
Při fotografování těchto závodů je důležité zůstat v bezpečí. Zde je vidět z jaké vzdálenosti jsem auta fotografoval. Samozřejmě jsem byl za velkým stromem a plánem útěku v případě vážné nehody. Na fotografii je třetí muž celkové klasifikace Huttunen Jari / Lukka Mikko na Hyundai i20 R5.

The old Škoda Octavia ended up at this point in the previous passage due to technical problems. So I could only photograph him with this detail.
Na tomto místě v předchozím průjezdu skončil vůz Škoda Octavia díky technickým problémům. Tak jsem ho mohl vyfotografovat pouze tímto detailem.
And finally, I chose a photo of one of the Czech motoring legends, who is still actively participating in circuit races and Czech rallies. Do you know who it is?
