Aight, this is my first post on Hive! You fueled my hope for a genuine decentralized platform so I am gonna start posting my art again.

This is little time-lapse of a goat skull painting. This piece is part of the animal skulls & skeletons series tokenized on Makersplace. The original was drawn with fountain pen and painted with brushes and Sumi ink on Arches paper.

TIP OF THE DAY

Never stop a line on the paper, but continue it in the air before stopping.

When it´s time to stop a line, gently lift your pen from the paper continuing the line motion in the air. Stopping the line on the paper creates little puddle of ink and causes "hooks" when hatching (line shading) or pulling fast lines.

Stopping lines this way will also help you to connect lines together without showing too much "seam".

MATERIAL USED

-Noodler´s Black Fountain Pen Ink

-Water Brush

-Kuretake Sumi Ink

-Masking Fluid

-Cold Press Arches Watercolor Paper 300g

I hope you enjoyed my post, this is all for today.

Have a nice day,

Skeenee!
