Working on a new cat (with an house on the head ^_^ )

The series of artworks on the theme "Home/house" continue and this time the subject is a funny cat!

Today, during my pause from the work in the bookshop, I started a new oil painting on paper and I thought it was time to paint a road and a tiny house on a black and white cat.

I love to paint this kind of cat, because it's inspired by Harpo, a beautiful (and big ^_^) furry helper of my friend Elena. Harpo has a special hair style that make him similar to the old actor Rodolfo Valentino and every time I visit the home of my friend, he's the first one I see in front of the door.

The painting is not finished, but I took some pics of the work in process to share with you:
