It was September 22, 1994, when NBC aired the pilot episode of what would become the most popular sitcom of all time. With "The Pilot" we began to get to know what would become over time 6 real friends of the audience at home. Joey, Chandler, Ross, Monica, Rachel and Phoebe came into our homes that day so we wouldn't get out of our lives. 10 years in their company, 10 seasons culminating with the diptych "The Last One" that forever would close the door of that apartment that so many laughs and dreams had given us. Yet that door, 15 years after the finale, is still very open for all of us, those dreams still palpable, those laughter still thunderous.

All features that we will never forget and that over the years have led us to see and review the episodes of Friends continuously, never tired of laughing and smiling in front of such immortal and beautiful characters in their eternal youth.

It is a list that perfectly encompasses what these unforgettable characters have conveyed. They are linked to objects, phrases and situations that are impossible to forget.

But friends wouldn't have been so loved without the continuous pull and pull between Ross and Rachel. That 10-year storyline allowed the audience to get passionate as well as have fun. The series managed to create loyalty without having to focus on stories about increasingly complex stories. It was enough to be funny, ironic and snappy, to develop in a wonderful way all six characters and add an incredible and complex love story as a common thread of all 10 years.
The girl next door, passionate about fashion, frivolous but beautiful, awkward but tender and the shy and geeky boy, insecure and unlucky in love.
An impossible connubbio on paper but that remains today the most loved couple ever on TV, those that everyone remembers, that became proverbial in certain situations.
And if Friends has become so important it is also thanks to the guest stars who have accompanied the 10 seasons of the series.

The world has changed, the way to enjoy the tv medium also, but the desire to stay hours and hours in the company of our friends does not.

Con "The Pilot" iniziammo a conoscere quelli che sarebbero diventati nel tempo 6 amici veri del pubblico a casa.
Joey, Chandler, Ross, Monica, Rachel e Phoebe entrarono nelle nostre case quel giorno per non uscire più dalle nostre vite.
10 anni in loro compagnia, 10 stagioni culminate con il dittico "The Last One" che per sempre avrebbe chiuso la porta di quell'appartamento che tante risate e sogni ci aveva regalato.
Eppure quella porta, a distanza di 15 anni dal finale è ancora apertissima per tutti noi, quei sogni ancora palpabili, quelle risate ancora fragorose.

Ma friends non sarebbe stata cosi amata senza il tira e molla continuo fra Ross e Rachel. Quella storyline durata 10 anni ha permesso al pubblico di appassionarsi oltre che divertirsi. La serie riuscì a creare fidelizzazione senza dover per forza mettere al centro storie su storie sempre più complesse. Le bastò essere divertente, ironica e scattante, sviluppare in maniera stupenda tutti e sei i personaggi ed aggiungere una storia d'amore incredibile e complessa come filo conduttore di tutti i 10 anni.
La ragazza della porta accanto, appassionata di moda, frivola ma bella, impacciata ma tenera ed il ragazzo timido e secchione, insicuro e sfortunato in amore.
Un connubbio impossibile sulla carta ma che resta oggi la coppia più amata di sempre in tv, quelle che tutti ricordano, quella divenuta proverbiale in determinate situazioni.
E se Friends è diventata cosi importante è anche grazie alle guest star che hanno accompagnato le 10 stagioni della serie.

Dati alla mano si stima che Friends sia ancora oggi, a distanza di 25 anni la serie più seguita al mondo, quella più richiesta nei cataloghi delle varie tv cable o delle piattaforme streaming.
Il mondo è cambiato, il modo di fruire il medium televisivo anche, ma la voglia di restare ore ed ore in compagnia dei nostri amici no.
Quella non cambierà mai.
