FASHION SERIES: ATIKU MATERIAL AND CAP

Hello everyone, welcome to my page once more as we continue in my fashion series.

Today I will be showing you a attire I made a friend who went to for marriage introduction.

The material is a cotton fabric called Atiku in Nigeria here. We contemplated on the design and how best it for the customer.

I also made a traditional cap worn majorly by the western tribe of Nigeria.
The cap is made from a material called aso oke, a hand woven material.

We check many fashion magazine and phone gallery but we could not lay hands on a particular one.

The concept was to made an overall called Agbada and an inner apparel in Nigeria but the fabric was not enough so I had to compromise and came up with an idea.

I made a complete wear for him but made a large embroidery on the cloth which made it look close to what we initially wanted.

Fashion is majorly about creativity, ability to swerve into design, compromise and deliver a good good outfit.

To cut the cap measurement, you put the tap rule round the head and transfer the measurement to the cap.

My customer cap measurement is 22and half.
