Celebrando a las Madres en su Mes / Celebrating Mothers in their Month
¡Saludos amigos de Hive! El día de hoy quisiera dedicar unas pequeñas palabras a las Madres en su mes. Una madre es un ser único e irrepetible que Dios designó para cuidarnos y enseñarnos a enfrentar los retos de la vida. Quiero iniciar con un hermoso poema de la autora Gabriela Mistral, que llama mucho mi atención por su ternura. Aquí les comparto las líneas:
Dulzura
madrecita tierna,
déjame decirte
dulzuras extremas.
que juntaste en ramo;
deja revolverlo
sobre tu regazo
y yo a ser rocío:

Greetings Hive friends! Today I would like to dedicate a few words to Mothers on their month. A mother is a unique and unrepeatable being that God designed to take care of us and teach us how to face the challenges of life. I would like to start with a beautiful poem by the author Gabriela Mistral, which attracts my attention because of its tenderness. Here I share the lines with you:

my tender mother,
let me tell you
extreme sweetness.
that you gathered in a bouquet;

on your lap

A mi madre la describo como una persona afectuosa, trabajadora y sacrificada que siempre ha dado todo de sí para sacar adelante a su familia. Siempre doy gracias a Dios por la bendición que ella representa. Conmemorar estas fechas me lleva a revivir aquellas reuniones familiares donde agasajábamos a las madres de la familia, costumbre que aun tratamos de mantener. En casa, solemos preparar alguna comida especial o salimos a comer fuera.
I describe my mother as a loving, hardworking and self-sacrificing person who has always given her all to help her family. I always thank God for the blessing she represents. Commemorating these dates brings me to relive those family gatherings where we used to celebrate the mothers of the family, a custom that we still try to maintain. At home, we usually prepare a special meal or go out to eat.
Sin lugar a dudas, cuando una mujer decide ser madre está dispuesta a cambiar su vida por completo, cambiar incluso sus costumbres y su forma de pensar, y sobre todo está dispuesta a entregarse en cuerpo y alma por sus hijos, para salir adelante con ellos y enseñarles a enfrentar todos y cada uno de los retos de la vida. Es importante honrar a esa persona que nos dio la vida, quienes tenemos la dicha de tener aún a nuestras madres debemos demostrarle siempre cuanto las apreciamos y buscar la manera de retribuirles todo lo que han hecho por nosotros.
¡Feliz mes aniversario a todas esas grandes luchadoras! Aunque a las madres hay que celebrarlas todos los días del año. ¡Bendiciones, hasta una próxima oportunidad!
Undoubtedly, when a woman decides to become a mother she is willing to change her life completely, change even her habits and her way of thinking, and above all she is willing to give herself body and soul for her children, to go ahead with them and teach them to face each and every one of life's challenges. It is important to honor the person who gave us life, those of us who are lucky enough to still have our mothers should always show them how much we appreciate them and look for ways to repay them for everything they have done for us.

Se ve que amas mucho a tu madre, y que la honras bastante. Así debe ser, la madre es el mejor regalo de Dios acá en la tierra y debemos valorarlas como nada en el mundo. Que poema tan dulce y merecedor para ella.
