I can't help but posting this kind of zany stuff. I know pretty well none of you would forgive me if I start now publishing just corny whispers, lover praising & fluffy spineless stuff about steemit, steem and newsteem.
I've been doing the same thing for too long. And although I have to admit that by continuing to do so it does not play in my favor nor to my greatest benefit. Very often I wonder where else you could find naked truths and indecent content exploring, uncovering and telling the things happening around here as they really are?
Yeah! I guess in not many other places within this blockchain right?
Well, at least not with the same classy and cranky sense of humor. Isn't it?

I'm certain that me, you and a good bunch of peeps around here often use to wonder why the heck some EIP whales doesn't dare to get close to one of our posts not even with an armor or wearing a Tyvek or NBQ suit.
Especially when they show a very refined preference for being present in the content of some other guys who tend to be more flattering to their soft, sweet and finicky ears. (...or eyes, but everyone knows they don't read)
Flattering content where these big sea mammals shamelessly show to be way more prodigal always in the top of the list of their greatest upvoters.
Do you think they have an excessive preference towards some authors and a more than obvious repulsion toward other authors? Of course they have!
Everyone has preferences. What did you think? That they are some kind of aliens? Or what? The only difference is that they have a lot more SP than us and a highly discriminatory and exquisite snob palate for all those of their own class, species, breeding or social position. They all are indisputably pure #newsteem solid gold.
This post is not a criticism or a claim nor a whining. Not even a cry out.
I guess I'm just saying what many have been wanting to say before. What many have wanted to highlight since the EIP was established after the latest hardforks. When whales promised that "Content Discovery" was going to be a THING. A 50/50 THING!! Can you hear me?
Would you dare to assert that this promise has been fulfilled?
Sheesh!! Come on! I'm not asking for anything especial. I know that you are very busy guys moving, trading and counting your own money all day.
But ¡Holy Crap! What about if you come to our blogs from time to time to uplift our spirits and our mood? On behalf of content discovery, of course.

Pretty sure that since the EIP you are earning more in Steem than you were before the EIP as it seems a few whales and their trails have supported some of your posts semi-consistently. When it comes to dollar value, that might be something else entirely.
As I have mentioned before, your content isn't to everyone's taste and people are still going to generally support what they like. And as you have answered each time, you are happy delivering what you do. To each their own, and this includes what whales choose to support.
Yep! that's certainly true and I agree. But I also pretty much know that simply holding just a couple of hundred thousand dolah$ in SP in our steem wallet would cure that whale's 'general ailment' in a jiffy. Delegated or own.

I disagree. I know there are a few orcas out there that struggle to get engagement and support on their posts, despite having a few hundred thousand SP.
Oh! obviously that always there are gonna be some exceptions. Just having a few hundred thousand SP only, isn't an infallible formula to get engagement and support.
I was rather referring to those who in addition to their bulky SP, they also create content which at least deliver something educational, entertaining, exotic and interesting that makes you think once in a while.
Well, I've been feeling the love, but I think that has less to do with my writing and more to do with the fact that I try to be friends with everyone without kissing any asses. I literally try to make a commenting relationship with anyone who I could possibly get along with, though I'm spread way too thin.
I may be wrong but it seems to me the circle jerk is a lot bigger these days, like anyone can get a handjob if they hang out long enough. Getting involved in chat rooms always helped me a lot.
Now I feel a bit sad that ialthoufh i get good payout, some of it goes unread. Oh well. Still a fun place.

Yep, you are not wrong. And among many other reasons, this may have at least two simple readings. Besides that proverbial saying: "The important isn't to know, but to have the phone number of the one who knows"
A good bunch of the members of the traditional 'opulent' circle jerks are not posting anything anymore or have abandoned the platform long ago. So, the active ones from that old club who still are wandering over here, now can't get their succulent 50/50 curation rewards slice from their usual vote4vote lodge's deal.
Therefore and as a collateral consequence of the above and also with the gradual demise of the Bidbots bizniz and the eventual vanishing of the massive profits of their owners who until recently foully benefited more from specifically these opulent members of the traditional circle jerks, they now had no choice but reinvent themselves reluctantly extending further and propagating wider their handjobs towards new and unsuspecting members of our ecosystem. In what we could call now a more 'democratic' and nascent 'Curators' circle jerking.
Yeah! they can't READ, are unable to read or simply they don't know how to read. They just count with their automatons (as before) to upfront any competence upvotes at 4 minutes or less to get the biggest 'curation' slice of the pie. Who can read a shit in barely 5 minutes?
And then with a simple also automated comment, they try to make you believe that they have read and appreciated what you have written.
Your generous intentions and goodwill is highly appreciated and you can count that these will be reciprocicated If I live long enough to witness it. LoL
P.S. I have the hunch you could find highly revealing and entertaining this post I've written a few days ago about kinda the same subject.
