Second Power Up of the Day #SPUDX here we come
Congratulations to everyone that powered up today to help keep steem a decentralized blockchain. I know many of you bought steem and many of you powered up liquid steem you had lying around. My votes not worth loads but if you powered up today, drop a comment below and I will upvote it to show my support.

In that post, I did a call out to buy steem with cash in PayPal. A big shout out and thank you to @abh12345 for being the middle man on this. Steem and funds were sent safely and both parties were happy. I helped to liquefy funds needed to pay for deposits on DTube Forum while gaining steem for myself to Power Up.

I was only Powering Down because I was scared about the future of the Network. I hope I don't have to restart it.

powered up 110 today.. not much but my vote is now 1400
@paulag don't forget there's alot of potential steempower on steemengine in all of the tokens. everyone can cash those in to increase steempower since it's difficult to get any steem into the blockchain from exchanges

this is true, I must check mine myself. Although I don't think token owners want to see their steem based token drained to 0.
they don't have to necessarily drain to zero but they can at least get a small boost in steempower by cashing in some
Also, some of the witnesses we are supposed to be voting for are powering down. Don't we also need their steempower as well? Seems like they should stop their power downs and use their full steempower as well.
A proper cynic might suggest that they are getting what they want without investing their own effort. Simultaneously encouraging other people to lock up their STEEM in SP (increasing the value of STEEM in the market and on exchanges by reducing its availability) while converting their SP into now more valuable STEEM?
The opportunist in me really wishes I could get in on some of that business.
All in all I got over 1,000 steem powered up and a bunch of witness votes.
The 100 steem transfer from binance was just to see if it would go through. Some reported that transfers in the thousands of steem were being held up.
Everyone reading this... Right now, for a short time only, we have the ability to do a "short squeez" of sorts on the exchanges and send the price of steem to the moon!
I plan on withdrawing much more soon.

I just really wish I would've been in the fight much earlier. I really would hate to see the very spirit of what was trying to be accomplished diminished and corrupted by the sort of mentality that brought about the need for it to exist in the first place.
YOu might want to take it easy with that buying more tron, its not steem anymore.

It really does not matter how much you are moving from the exchanges, AS LONG you MOVE it! The important factor being addressed here is that exchanges should not be empowered to use our funds to "act" in our behalf. And that is only up to you all to show what you want for STEEM. Let's get this done people!
