We don't fear challenges!

Steemit, Bitcoin and even the Covid-19 virus to overcome!

Yes, we are all in a battle that is the size of a mountain, or should I say several mountains? A battle for survival.
But here is the thing, how do we face these challenges?
Do we understand that challenges shape our characters?
Do we know that it was the overcoming of all of the previous challenges in our lives that resulted in who we are today?
Follow me in this story!

IMG_8630.JPG

The real challenge started when we arrived here today!

IMG_8515.JPG

I love bi-planes and I heard him coming from far off!

IMG_8568.JPG

But he wasn't coming our way, as this guy challenged his flying skills against the mountain ridges.
One mistake and he would never fly again!

IMG_8541.JPG

To make matters worse, the clouds became darker!

IMG_8542.JPG

IMG_8511.JPG

Fleet footed he danced with that little plane along and over the mountains and they could not touch him.
So the answer for us in our challenges is to stay one or two, or preferably 5 steps ahead when a crisis hits.
Do we run away? Never!!! WE DON'T QUIT EITHER!!!

Here's a great poem about quitting!

Don’t Quit!
By Edgar A. Guest

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low but the debts are high,
And you want to smile but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit…
Rest if you must, but don’t you quit!
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many failures turn about
When we might have won had we stuck it out.
Don’t give up though the pace seems slow…
You may succeed with another blow.
Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor’s cup;
And he learned too late when the night came down,
How close he was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out…
And you can never tell how close you are
It may be near when it seems so far.
So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit
It’s when things seem worst that you must not quit.
(Edgar A. Guest)

And finally, my favorite photo below!
IMG_8573.JPG

Now how is this for guts? In a little bi-plane up high among the granite mountain peaks. He looks as tiny as a mosquito, but the peaks can't touch him!
Apologies for the lighting, but all of my photos are unedited and this was far away!

And That's All Folks! Remember, we are not quitters!

We hope that you have enjoyed the story and the pictures.

Very nice photos and inspiring commentary "cuzzy" I like the biplane as well, I never see them here these days.
Since you don't edit them, I did this one for you :D 😃

Thank you cousin Jerry and it looks great.
We have a few bi-planes going here and my favorite is the one from World War 2 that's still flying. This one here is one of the new smaller planes, but oh man, this guy can fly. At one stage I thought that he was going to do a loop, but no go.
On Saturday 21 March I am going to see more antique planes that are still flying, so stay tuned for the post.
Blessings to you my bud!

Yes the same for me, apart from a Drs visit this morning, will be moored at home also
As much as we hate being stuck at home it makes common sense

I have been summoned to the doctors rooms tomorrow morning at 9am my friend.
He has received my blood test results and doesn't want to talk about it on the phone. Can only mean one thing, but I don't want to thumb suck.
Let's see what he has to say!
Take care.

Not what I expected at all JJ. Saw the Quack this morning and he is happy, as four of my blood counts has improved, but the Iron one is disappointing.
The 3 month course of 4 Iron tablets a day has increased the count from 6.5 to 9.1. The average is 30. So I am still far away.
That explains my tiredness and low energy levels.
But at least it is not critical news and thank you for the prayers my friend.
Blessings!

Will take about a year the doctor thinks my friend.
Amazing the amounts of blood I lost with that operation and we were never informed about the loss of iron as a result.
Instead they post their bills in a great hurry.
Such is life!

Sounds about typical for hospitals the world over, but at least your tracking it now and building up your levels

The skies are grey here today in the beautiful Cape but we know the sun will come out again not so! That poem has been one of my all time favourites during trying times. Love your encouraging analogies and photographs! Blessings to you and your Marion!

Your fault that the skies are grey Lol, because you are leaving us so soon Lady Lizelle. I wanted to show you guys some amazing wine estates and so much more. But you have to do what you must.
Please take care on your return trip as the winds here tonight are terribly ferocious!
Blessings to you guys!

Thank you my friend, we definitely want to do this again! We did route 62 on Wednesday, it was beautiful! Had a wet day here but we were able to buy yellowtail from the fishing boats, enjoyed some last night and froze some to take home, packing it well to stay frozen. Driving back to the airport early. The Cape has been glorious!

You see! Had you told me you were flying we could have met at the airport, as it is 30 minutes away from us. I thought you guys were driving.
Yellowtail is great and glad that you enjoyed the break.
Blessings!

But the end of all things has drawn near. Therefore be sober-minded and be sober unto prayers.(1 Peter 4:7)
