The beauty and the promise!

All in one, a double rainbow, a bird, trees, colors, clouds and the sky!

I have the rainbow and also some other beauties for you here today, as we have had some heavy rains and the clouds are always beautiful at sunset. The rainbow always reminds me of the covenant that the world will never be covered by a flood again.
Come and have a look!

Ah, here's the left end of the rainbow and it seems that the pot of gold is somewhere in the mountains!

This is all that I could get of the right end of the rainbow, as it disappeared behind the trees!

And now I will show you what the wind does with a cloud!

That smear in the photo is the wind driving along the bottom of the top cloud!

Here's a later shot and the wind seems to want to drive the top cloud through the solid cloud at the bottom!

Finally one of my favorite trees backed by the beautiful sunset cloud colors.

There was a lull in the rain and as usual I popped out of the house with my camera, to see if mother nature wants to show me something. Today I was lucky, as she sent me a rainbow and I was happy to take a few shots of it. No time to get to a high spot in the mountains for a full picture, as the winds cleared the rainbow in minutes. But, I got what I could!

I like me some rainbows in the skies and some clearing storm clouds, or just clearing clouds that look like passing storm clouds. Nice snaps. Nice how the sun lights up those clouds.

Did you find any pots of gold at the ends of those rainbows?

Oh you're a lucky one, Zac, a double rainbow not only has a pot of gold for the one who finds the right end of it, but also luck will come to you, and therefore you don't even need to search the end of the rainbow 🌈😀

Hahaha, now you are talking my language Hannes.
I am always an opimistic soul and I have no intention of going to search for no pot of gold lol.
My friends are my gold lol.

Good evening Hannes,

By the time my luck comes, I will not know anymore what to do with it hahaha.

The thing is that when you get that pot of gold, it will draw many "friends" my friend.
We call those "friends" fly's, for as soon as the pot is finished they disappear.
It's the friends that we have now that are the real friends, as we build each other up, like you are doing with me and those are the friends that are worth more than gold!

That's not how the new friends work Hannes.
After you get that pot of billions, you will want to spend some and invest the rest. So word will get out, like it always does and all of a sudden you will receive invitations to all kinds of parties for the rich and everyone will make you feel very important.

Once the word gets out your pot of gold will be doomed hahaha
Now consider this, if you never find that pot, you will always be as happy as your are right now.
So now why would you wish for a pot of trouble that will make you lie awake every night fearing that someone could steal it?

That is normally the case when we say things Hannes.
Such as this example;

"Ooh, she is so ugly that I will never kiss her"
Then one day he gets drunk and kisses her. hahaha.
