A day out on animal doctor's orders!

He said to us that "Troy" must be taken for long walks and it was all action today!

Come drive with us to the doggie park!

Now, our little "Troy" is a natural fighter and he sees me as the leader of the pack.
So, he thinks that he can tackle anything 6 times his size and he got us in trouble a few times before, even rushing a bullterrier!
But I don't want to give the story away, so let's go!

103.JPG

As we turned into the entrance, I stopped to get this Pied crow in action. He found a little white field mushroom!

104.JPG

A well mannered crow, as he gently stepped away from his companions to enjoy his meal in private hahaha!

106.JPG

Bam! The mushroom simply disappeared down his throat.
I thought that he would at least savor it and take a few little bites first.
Best not to show his eating manners to your children lol!

173.JPG

We have the weatherman saying that it will rain at 6 0'clock and here you can see the clouds coming in!

Okay, now for the action that I mentioned!

156.JPG

"Troy" strapped in by his "mother" and ready to go for a walk!

148.JPG

Far and wide they crossed the fields and walked the roads, but suddenly I heard the little angry barks, which normally means trouble!

175.JPG

Yep! Two dogs spotted Troy and he was ready for them, barking angrily.
Luckily the dog in front had to wait, as the one in the back had a flat wheel lol.

178 (2).JPG

Of course Troy's mommy did what she always does, she picked our little champion up and you can see how he watches the other dogs!

126.JPG

And finally, that was it. We loaded Troy and we were out of there!

I can understand that people need to let their dogs run, but not in a public park where there are rules on signboards that banish dogs that are not on a leash.
The problem is that people that live in small places get big dogs to guard their properties and the poor animals have no space to run.
I don't have a problem with well trained adult dogs, but it is the young dogs that trouble me.

We have seen a few aggresive dog fights in that park before and heaven forbid that a child will at some or other time be attacked.
Now I am not anti dog, but I am anti irresponsible owners and I don't want to be the owner of a dog that maimed, or even killed a little child.
It is so simple to act responsibly, but sadly so many regard responsibilty as a foreign word.
Such is life!

What a nice story of these crows - we don't have such cool looking black and white crows here.

The smallest dogs bark the loudest 😁 but I completely agree with you. The dog owners should care for their dogs and on such places they have to be leashed.
I think there should be a "dog license" for such big and dangerous dogs and Austria is already thinking of such. At the moment every Austrian state handles such dogs different and hopefully the government will make a law which applies to the whole country.

I agree that it should be made a law.
But many people here ignore the law as there are no enforcers available.
Until something bad happens and then there is a great uproar as usual and everybody blames everybody else.
Such a mess.

Blessings and thanks!

Yes, and mostly they bite kids. Sadly it will mostly be the dogs end, but the owner, whose actual fault it was, just gets a fine.

So, that was my last reply for tonight - have a good night my friend 🙂

Those are beautiful crows!
Almost look like the magpie minus the long tail!
We have a problem with dogs attacking our dog so can't just let him run free in the yard all the time and we take him to a secluded place up on a pasture on the hilltop to let him run.
I've seen a few good dogs ruined by irresponsible owners.
Glad Troy got a bit of a walk and you two also!

Thank you and apparently there are many countries that don't have Pied Crows.
Some people here catch the babies and teach them to talk.

Glad that you are taking your dog to a secluded area as it is the way to go.

I took Troy with me once, but a snake almost got him, of course I took care of the snake, but since I don't take him with anymore.
Only safe doggy parks for him and that's where we pick up problems with aggresive big dogs running around freely, as Troy tries to attack them.

Such is life my friend.

Snakes are not a problem here - only have the harmless guarder snakes here. Good thing Troy has you to protect him, help him live to a ripe old age!

Troy is already 15 years old my friend.
I am sure that you guys are also very protective of your dog. Bruno I think?
Blessings!
