A chat between the Sun and the Moon!

"Look" the sun said, "see how lovely I can lighten things up"!

The sky was clear and the winter sun was shining.
As I was walking along, I imagened the sun having a discussion with the moon about the beauty that they create on earth.
Our planet will be black were it not for these two planets, nothing would grow and we would live in a rocky swamp.
Come and have a look at the beauty of the day!

180.JPG

This above is a seperate mountain that is not a part of the long mountain range over here!

169.JPG

I couldn't make my mind up if that was mist or cloud at the mountain base!

175.JPG

But it gradually started to rise and a side wind also brought in some more clouds!

290.JPG

Soon the entire mountain range was besieged by clouds!

275.JPG

Here you can see the clouds making their way in the valleys at the mountain base!

264.JPG

Even beautiful pods of cloud like this shaped by the winds.

301.JPG

Ah! Then things started to get serious as rain clouds stated streaming in and here above one can even see the isolated mountain in the first photo!

570.JPG

The moon sat high above and lauhingly told the sun that the jealous clouds were spoiling the day!

But wait, there's more!

259.JPG

I want to show you how the signal mountain looked a bit closer up!

252.JPG

Finally, there we are. Thick cloud that soon turned into storm clouds!

Nature has a way to always mesmerize me and I love to see the constant changes taking place just before the rain comes.
We are having our winter storms here, so they present many photographic opportunities and I will be sure to show you many more.
I am also planning to have a a great open and high up view of the ocean soon to get a storm and sunset in action.

Note: All photos as usual are my own, unedited and cropped for uploading purposes.

Very nice story and some wise words, my friend 😊
The photos are great, I love such images where a band of clouds hangs on the mountain and allows a clear view of the summit - cool 😊

Thank you my friend.
I saw afterward that I lost track, as I didn't continue with the sun an and moon narrative, but just decided to leave it as is.
Thankfully the pictures seem to be liked.

Cheers and thank you!

I like it the way you wrote your post and didn't find anything wrong how you told that story :)
And the photos are great, of course, and they add a lot of value to the post 🙂

Thank you for the kind words here and I always wondered about that tag picture of yours.
Now I know that it's a whole Kiwi fruit and your first tag picture.

Thank you for the new information and I don't know when I will have to use it hahaha.

Cheers and thank you!

My tendency is look intensely at the black ring in the middle, trying to figure it out hahaha.
Looks like some kind of a race track lol.

Now I look at the whole picture and I know what it is my Kiwi friend lol.

Cheers and thank you!

Here one can see it clearly, but I have never opened your tag picture.

I saw this picture in your post and only then knew what it was.
Your first great macro if I remember correctly.

Cheers and thank you!

At least I thought it was great after I have shot many bad macros - it was just as I expected it to be and I still like it 😉

I think I can reach out to the sky now, lol😂😂😂

Awesome collection you got.
I'm going to try climbing mountain someday.

Hope it's not as dangerous as skydiving

Thank you and I think that each of the events hold their own dangers my friend.

I will have to agree with you on that. A person can survive the dangers if skydiving only to come down to earth be consumed by earthquake.

Thank you very much for your response. I'm really grateful.

We are very frail as human beings and even a common flu can kill us.
So yeah there are many dngers out there, but we have also to live our lives and to follow our passions.
It is only by grace that we stay alive.
