The Life Of A Drummer
Hello Blessings to all, my sincere greetings to this powerful and beautiful community, today I want to express and make you by this means tell you a little of my beginning of my musical career that I titled it Willingness is Power.
When I was 12 years old in the middle of the year 1999 my parents, congregated in a Christian church, located in campo alegre, a sector here in Maracay, Venezuela, which made the purchase or acquisition of an acoustic drum set, (eye) at that time I did not know that it was called that way which when I heard, that instrument mentioned I was very surprised, there was like something magical inside me, like a very big connection when I heard it, When I arrived from the service I talked to my parents, obviously because I was a teenager my parents thought it was a great emotion, they ended up ignoring me, what a thing of life, but with much humility, as the days went by and the routine services went by, I could feel that inside of me, that intense way of loving that beautiful instrument was being born.

Then little by little, I wanted to get closer to that beautiful instrument, but well I waited for the days to pass and in each service I concentrated on listening and learning what I saw from the young man who played in the services, in a moment like (magic) the drums were alone, and I could sit on it and I had several things in my mind that I had seen and well I saw that it became, let's say practically easy, I could play the drums and do what I had in mind, then I made the determination, and when I arrived from the service, I talked to my parents and managed to convince them, that they enrolled me in the conservatory of music of the State of Aragua, which was added to the activities they were already doing as studying, I was in swimming at the Polideportivo, and I was in minor league baseball, little by little I was advancing in the musical area, since in the conservatory I saw the subjects called theory and solfeggio, musical calligraphy, musical dictation.
PART OF THE PROCESS: Then I wanted how to look for an alternative, to learn in a personal way the drums, and I had to move to Caracas being a minor, I had to work as an assistant of passenger bus, to be able to generate the payment of my classes, that I had to cancel, when I went to Caracas, but it is a love, that little by little was growing, since my parents did not have the opportunity to pay my class.
THE PASSION: I had to work for it and well I have to say that I didn't have my own instruments, I had to go to the church, where I went to ask for the drums and I had to practice! I would talk to the concierge of the church, and they allowed me access to study, where I would spend two days a week (8 to 10 hours) because I did not have a battery, but as I repeat, WANT IS POWER, I confess that it was a little difficult for me to learn, because at that time I did not have the tools that I currently have, It was difficult, there were no smart phones, but thanks to God, as the years went by in the center of Maracay there was a man whose name I do not remember, but he sold music clinics, I made him an order and thanks to him he began to bring me on DVD the Modern drummer of the times 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006
MY MUSICAL INFLUENCE OR DRUMMER INFLUENCE: I was able to meet, what are now my great influences on drums for me: Dave weckl, Gregg Bisonette, Don famularo, Steven Smith, Virgil Donati, Thomas lang, Marco Minneman, John blackwell, Horacio El Negro Hernandez, Eric Moore ,Calvin Rodgers, Akira Jimbo, Chris Coleman, Jessie Caraballo, Alex Gomez, were for me drummers, But my favorite drummer is the man of the great rudiments, who is called Buddy Rich, also some great books like the Symcopetion and the Stick control, and well little by little I was taking all these things to my life which I was preparing myself. .
FACILITATORS: Thanks to great teachers like Andres Briceño, clinics with Euro Zambrano, my great teacher in peace rest Wilner Navas, Douglas Reveron, Richy Villa, which I truly honor and will be eternally grateful for their dedication and unselfish sharing of their knowledge
CURRENT REALITY: It is very important to tell you that currently, because as a result of the pandemic of covid 19 here in Venezuela, live shows were suspended and any activity such as concerts, clinics, live music has become uphill, very difficult, as well are prohibited many things already mentioned well I with much sincerity, It has cost me a lot but thanks to God among all this I thank God, because he is the one who has given me this gift this beautiful talent and also thanks to my parents, because my whole family has this great blessing, that all are musicians and singers, and thanks to the desire and personal creativity I was able to realize based on these few financial resources, to be able to design a battery of practice that you will see in a photo I will show you a battery of practice which still exists, still taught still practical, where I worried to leave a legacy, but the most important thing of this musical career, is that it has, developed a character, of discipline constancy, perseverance, Passion, LOVE, for me the battery is something beyond something common, for me it is something spiritual, a celestial connection, the battery for me is a great LOVE, I can devote myself to practice, I can drain, improve health, I can develop my ideas I have lived very nice anecdotes and traveled, I have had tours with national and international artists. .
I am currently finishing my Christian album, I am the musical director of a Christian group called #MCJBAND where I want to leave together with them, a great legacy, a great contribution to the world, teach and show our songs with a positive message, where it will be a great contribution to the art of music, and society, thanks to this beautiful and beneficial community that gives me this great opportunity to be able to make this humble but very meaningful publication for all of you, Many blessings, I hope it will be of pleasure and of much inspiration for many, do not give up, that your miracle may be closer than you can believe! !! La Vida De Un Baterista
Hola Bendiciones a todos, mis sinceros saludos a esta poderosa y bella comunidad, hoy quiero expresarle y hacerle por este medio hablarle un poco de mi inicio de mi carrera musical que lo título El QUERER ES PODER.
Cuando tenía 12 años A mediados del año 1999 mis padres, se congregaban una iglesia cristiana, ubicada en campo alegre un sector aquí en Maracay, Venezuela, el cual hicieron la compra o la adquisición de una batería acústica, (ojo) en ese tiempo no sabía que se llamaba así el cual cuando escuché, dicho instrumento mencionado me sorprendí muchísimo, hubo como algo mágico dentro de mí, como una conexión muy grande cuando la escuché, al llegar del servicio hablé con mis padres, obviamente por ser un adolescente mis padres pensaron que se trataba de una gran emoción terminaron ignorándome, hay qué cosas de la vida, pero con mucha humildad, que a pasar de los días a pasar de los servicios rutinarios, pude sentir que dentro de mí, estaba naciendo, esa intensa manera de amar ese hermoso instrumento.

Entonces poco a poco, quise acércame, hacia ese bello instrumento, Pero bueno espere que fueran, pasando los días y en cada servicio me concentraba en escuchar, y aprender, lo que veía del joven el cual tocaba en los servicios, en un momento como (mágico) la batería estaba sola, y me pude sentar en ella y yo tenía varias cosas en la mente que había visto y bueno vi que se me hizo, digamos prácticamente fácil, pude tocar la batería y hacer lo que tenía en mente ahí tomé la determinación, y a llegar del servicio, hable con mis padres y logré convencerlos, de que me inscribieron, en el conservatorio de música del Estado Aragua, el cual se sumaba las actividades que ya realizaban como estudiar, estaba en natación en el Polideportivo, y estaba en béisbol de ligas menores, poco a poco fui avanzando en el área musical, Ya que en el conservatorio veía las materias Que se llama teoría y solfeo, caligrafía musical, dictado musical.
PARTE DEL PROCESO: Entonces quise Cómo buscar una alternativa, de aprender de manera personal la batería, y tuve que trasladarme a Caracas siendo menor de edad, tuve que trabajar como ayudante de buseta de pasajeros, para poder generar el pago de mis clases, que que tenía que cancelar, cuando iba a Caracas, pero es un amor, que poco a poco fue creciendo, ya que mis padres no tenían la oportunidad de pagarme mi clase..
LA PASIÓN: Yo tenía que trabajar para eso y Bueno me tengo que acotar, que tampoco tenía, instrumentos propios tenía que trasladarme hacia la iglesia, donde iba a pedir la batería donde tenía que practicar!!! hablaba con la conserje de la iglesia, y me permitían el acceso a estudiar, Dónde ahí pasaba dos días a la semana de (8 a 10 horas) porque no tenía una batería, pero como Les repito El QUERER ES PODER, les Confieso que se me hizo un poquito difícil el aprendizaje, Ya que en ese tiempo no tenía las herramientas que HOY actualmente poseo, era difícil no había teléfonos inteligentes pero gracias a Dios, a pasar de los años en el centro de Maracay había un señor el cual no recuerdo su nombre,pero él vendía clínicas de música, igual le hice un encargo y gracias a él me empezó a traer en DVD los Modern drummer de los tiempos 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 2005, 2006.
MI INFLUENCIA MUSICAL O BATERISTICA: Pude conocer, lo que hoy actualmente son mis grandes influencias, en la batería qué son para mí Como: Dave weckl, Gregg Bisonette, Don famularo, Steven Smith, Virgil Donati, Thomas lang, Marco Minneman, John blackwell, Horacio El Negro Hernández, Eric Moore ,Calvin Rodgers, Akira Jimbo, Chris Coleman, Jessie Caraballo, Alex Gómez, fueron para mí baterístas, que actualmente sigo estudiando, Pero mi baterísta favorito es el hombre de los grandes rudimentos, que se llama Buddy Rich , también unos gran libros como el Symcopetion y el Stick control ,y bueno poco a poco fui llevando todo estas cosas a mi vida el cual me fui preparando..
FACILITADORES: Gracias a grandes profesores como Andrés briceño, clínicas con Euro Zambrano, mi gran maestro en paz descanse Wilner Navas, Douglas reveron, Richy Villa, el cual de verdad honro y estaré Eternamente Agradecido, por su dedicación y por compartir sin egoísmo, sus conocimientos.
REALIDAD ACTUAL: Es muy importante decirle que actualmente, Pues a raíz de la pandemia del covid 19 aquí en Venezuela, fueron suspendidos los shows en vivos y cualquier actividad como conciertos, clínicas, vivir de la música se ha hecho cuesta arriba, muy difícil, ya que bueno están prohibidos Muchas cosas ya mencionadas bueno yo con mucho sinceridad, me ha costado muchísimo pero gracias a Dios entre Todo esto le doy gracias a Dios, porque él es el que me ha dado este don este talento tan hermoso y bueno Gracias también a mis padres, porque toda mi familia cuento con esa gran bendición, que todos son músicos y cantores, y gracias al deseo y a la creatividad personal pude realizar a base de esos pocos recursos financieros, poder diseñar una batería de practica que verán en una foto se la mostraré una batería de práctica la cual Todavía existe, todavía enseñó todavía práctico, donde me preocupado por dejar un legado, pero lo más importante de esta carrera musical, es que ha, desarrollado un carácter, de disciplina constancia, perseverancia, Pasión, AMOR, para mí la batería es algo más allá de algo común, para mí es algo espiritual, una conexión celestial, la batería para mí es un gran AMOR, me puedo dedicar a practicar, puedo drenar, mejorar la salud, puedo desarrollar mis ideas he vivido anécdotas muy bonitas e viajado, he tenido giras con artistas nacionales e internacionales..
Actualmente estoy culminando mi disco cristiano, soy director musical de una agrupación cristiana se llama #MCJBAND donde , quiero dejar juntos a ellos, un gran legado, un gran aporte para el mundo, enseñar y mostrar nuestros temas con un mensaje positivo, donde será un gran aporte al arte de la música, y a la sociedad, gracias a esta hermosa y beneficiosa comunidad que me da esta gran oportunidad de poder hacer este humilde pero muy significativo publicación para todos ustedes, Muchas bendiciones, espero que sea de agrado y de mucha inspiración para muchos, no se rinda, que su milagro puede estar más cerca de lo que usted puede creer!!!
