Remember Ned of Steemit? Uptrennd CEO pulls a Ned Scott on Users!

A saying goes thus: "once bitten, twice shy". That was what's on my mind and maybe anyone who experienced how Ned Stabbed us all in the back and auctioned us to Justin Sun.

Anyways, that was how Hive came to be and its going so well. Some paradigm shifts are necessary for quantum leaps. Maybe that is what was in the Mind of Uptrennd CEO when he shook on a merger with Trodl.

By now you must have read Jeff's big announcement, if you are an Uptrennd user. I'm also sure you are angry of some sort, or happy. The happy ones would be laughing at Uptrennd and 1Up faithfuls for their never say die spirit that just got robbed on their faces. While there is a compensation for what you hold in 1Up(that is if you eventually get it), it is unequivocally glaring that Uptrennd would have a shake off test, hence it is important to always follow your guts especially if you recall what Ned Scott of Steemit did. Meaning, if you see people who put efforts in their articles ghosting, then they sensed something is wrong somewhere. I reduced my being active to about 35%, cos of the circle voting jerks and Guardian ass-licking isn't my thing, plus a CEO that went AWOL!

Jeff was a perfect example of Ned of Steemit. He was silent for so long that it became silly of him as a CEO. Then boom; Justin Sun bought us on Auction and then a witness war exploded and then: viola, we appeared here!

However, this is not like Steemit debacle. It is a merger of some sort, but it was obvious something like this is bound to happen if you felt Jeff deafening silence for so long. Anyone who puts so much efforts in here would be sad, and I feel you all. But take a cue from Steemit, it used to be a place of hope and always bubbling, then things went out of hand. Same thing happened here on this platform and it is the modus operandi for any app that forms out of Steemit.

Remember Weku, Bearshares, Jamaal and the rest. Take consolation in those platform that ceased to exist while the users continue to live on and get busy with their lives. If you get your promised Trodl, be happy, if you don't, be happy as well.

All in all,remember never to throw all your eggs in one basket, diversity is the key. So that that you won't be pained if something like this happens again!
