A Navy friend survived this car crash as you could see from the image, though he spent quite a while in Emergency Room while he struggled to get out critical condition. But he came out alive after all in a couple of weeks. But that's not the moral of this story, a lot of people are too busy to be grateful for life, sometimes our lives could be so busy like thunderstorm clouds sometimes preventing us from getting in touch with friends and families for a very long time without concrete reasons. Its much worse for friends and mutuals, we let life trivialities get in our way to check up on each other.

Although, most times we hide under being busy like I said and sometimes we are really busy, yet still don't create ample time to check on those closer to us, and they, sometimes would not check back on us. That's one of the fault in humanity, and its not getting better or going anywhere for generations to come.

Over four months, I haven't heard from my friend, i guess if we communicate more often we would be close to been best friends by now. We met on a long trip to the North in my country a while ago, he was a Navy and that faithful day he had missed his official flight from my city back to the country's capital where he was posted, we ended up doing interstate overnight and that's how we became good friends. But along the line, our communication became a one way and I got tired of it, probably because of the nature of his assignment, he doesn't chat or call much. I got fed up most times and I could go weeks not saying hello.

But something weird happened, I kept having this nudge to get in touch, few days ago I did and behold he had been in an autocrash in that car he bought not long ago and almost lost his life. For weeks he's been in an ER and despite his car was written off, he survived and I was feeling guilty not getting in touch for a long time till few days ago and I was happy he's alive. Bottom line is, not every one is fine, that's if you swallow the pride to check on them even if they don't check on you. Furthermore, you should be grateful for those things you consider little: like been Healthy, not spending time in the Hospital or not been so broke to get some things you want!

It's amazing anyone survived that crash! Your mate was lucky. I think it's important to be grateful for each day we have and to make sure we get the best from each one and to live our own best life each day.

Well, I certainly think luck was on his side and that he will probably look at life a little differently from now on. It shouldn't take a vehicle accident to make that happen, but sometimes I guess it does.
