I was of the idea that
Love is an illusion - an ideology that's untrue
But every single day,
Your love overwhelms me.
Such a sweet love, where else could I find it?
You, who is royalty,
came to this world as a low born for my sins.
The ones You came to save,
despised You and nailed You to the cross.

Yet, my human self continues to live
in the same iniquity that you died for.
The unholy sinner You died for
is grateful and sorry.
Every day, I pray;
I pray for Your Grace, I hope it overshadows me,
I pray for Your unending love, I hope it leads me always,
And above all, I pray
To always find You to lean on
When I hit rock bottom,
My dear Lord and Saviour.
