Hello Hive community, today I am going to tell you something very beautiful that I am living in these moments and that comforts me in this third age. As it is, the virtual reunion with my ex-students from the 1982 High School Promotion, from the Lyceum where I worked for 16 years and today they despite the distance, after 39 years of graduates they contacted and formed a WhatsApp group and they integrated their most beloved teachers to this group called: Generation of 82 JVB.
Hola comunidad de Hive, hoy les voy a relatar algo muy bonito que estoy viviendo en estos momentos y que me reconforta en esta tercera edad. Como es, el reencuentro virtual con mis ex- alumnos de la Promoción de Bachilleres del año 1982 , del Liceo donde trabaje durante 16 años y hoy ellos a pesar de las distancia, después de 39 años de graduados se contactaron y formaron un grupo de whatsapp e integraron a sus docentes más queridos a este grupo denominado: Generación del 82 JVB.
I feel blessed with God, for the great moments that I lived as a teacher, in which there was friendship, camaraderie between teachers and students, but always with a line of love and respect, which today has been lost with the new generation (already that there is a loss of values). In particular I want to tell you about this wonderful group of graduates in the Class of 1982.
Two months ago this group of alumni, after 39 years graduated from high school, began to contact each other, even though many are outside the country (Argentina, Orlando Florida, England, Spain, Chile, Peru, Japan and other countries and the group that still resides in Maracay- Venezuela), of the Promotion of Bachelor of Sciences and Humanities, in that contact they created a group on WhatsApp and in turn they managed to contact four teachers, they say the most remembered and loved of the moment, in which I am pleasantly found.

Me siento bendecida con Dios, por los grandes momentos que viví como docente, en el cual existía amistad, camaradería entre los docentes y los alumnos, pero siempre con una línea de amor y respeto, que hoy se ha perdido con las nuevas generación ( ya que existe una pérdida de valores). En particular deseo hablarle sobre este maravilloso grupo de egresados en la Promoción del año 1982.
Hace dos meses este grupo de ex – alumnos, después de 39 años graduados de bachiller, empezaron a contactarse, aún y cuando muchos están fuera del país (Argentina, Orlando Florida, Inglaterra, España, Chile, Perú, Japón y otros países y el grupo que aún reside en Maracay- Venezuela) , de la Promoción de Bachilleres de Ciencias y Humanidades, en ese contacto crearon un grupo en Whatsapp y a su vez lograron contactarnos a cuatro profesores, ellos dicen lo más recordados y queridos del momentos, en el cual gratamente me encuentro.
It is a very nice catharsis activity, in which I forget about all the economic and stressful problems of the country (Venezuela). Throughout the day they write for the group, as they are in different countries, we call the group 24 x 24, because due to the difference in time, there is a message all day, we sleep and wake up with 1500 messages to read. Es una actividad de catarsis muy linda, en la cual me olvido de todos los problemas económicos y estresantes del país (Venezuela). Durante todo el día ellos escriben por el grupo, como están en diferentes países, denominamos al grupo 24 x 24, porque por la diferencia de horarios, todo el día hay mensaje, dormimos y despertamos con 1500 mensajes que leer. Los primeros días se enviaban foto del antes y después para identificarse, se cuentan anécdotas vividas durante su época de liceísta, sus tremenduras, amores de adolescentes.

In the group, they talk about their love affairs: towards the back of the high school, to the Cocuizas is a National Park Located in the Castaño - Maracay, to the Zoo.
There are many of the anecdotes that we would never finish recounting, such as: Identity cards were falsified to enter the discos: La Hipotenusa, Peineta Rota, Manzanita, among others of the time.
Una de sus anécdotas, y que los docentes, nunca pudimos identificar la persona que fue: en el laboratorio de química unieron unas sustancias y prepararon un explosivo y lo colocaron en uno de los baños de los varones, de repente estando todos en clases se oye un estallido y todos salimos corriendo y cuando verificamos donde había ocurrido, estaba todo el WC negro de la explosión. Todavía ellos, después de 39 años hablan y se ríen de lo sucedido con mucha picardía, les pregunté díganme quien fue y se ríen y no delatan a nadie, todavía a esta altura de la vida. En el grupo, hablan sobre sus escapaditas de enamorados: hacia la parte de atrás del liceo, a las Cocuizas es un Parque Nacional Ubicado en el Castaño – Maracay, al Zoológico.
Son muchas de las anécdotas que nunca terminaríamos de relatar como por ejemplo: Falsificaban Cédula de Identidad para poder entrar a las discotecas: La Hipotenusa, Peineta Rota, Manzanita, entre otras de la época.
I in particular was the head of cultural dissemination and in charge of all the activities of the campus, I was the creator of the Zonal Festival of the Lycee Theater in the State, I coordinated the choir, the student dance (today one of my best students in this Art is currently Director of the House of Culture and Director of Dances in the State), we participated in the San José Fairs, with comparsas. In turn, she was in charge of the Academic Acts in the Campus, with the collaboration of teachers and students and the graduation parties were spectacular in the Military Circle. Today they say that their children never experienced what they enjoyed in their time. They call her, the best Generation of the 80s.
Yo en particular era la jefa de difusión cultural y la encargada de todas las actividades del plantel, fui la creadora del Festival Zonal del Teatro liceísta en el Estado, coordine la coral, la estudiantina danzas (hoy uno de mis mejores alumnos en este Arte es actualmente Director de la Casa de la Cultura y Director de Danzas en el Estado), participábamos en las Ferias de San José, con comparsas. A su vez, era la encargada de los Actos Académicos en el Plantel, con la colaboración de profesores y alumnos y las fiestas de graduación eran espectaculares en el Círculo Militar. Ellos hoy dicen, que sus hijos nunca vivenciaron, los que ellos disfrutaron en su época. La llaman, la mejor Generación de los 80.
Today, I virtually reunite with my former students and we tell each other so many anecdotes from the past, I am enjoying the most with them at this stage of my life. They fill me with their acknowledgments, compliments and expressions of appreciation and affection that motivate my ego and self-esteem. They express that thanks to the teachers they had in their time, today they are excellent professionals. I never thought, to meet again, albeit virtually, with this group of former students who left their mark on the high school and on me as a professional and even more so as a person.
It's great to say friends, to those who were our students yesterday. There are beautiful things in life, but the most beautiful and valuable is true family and friends. Today with the pandemic we can say: “true friendship is like air, you don't see it, but it is always with you.
Hoy, me reencuentro virtualmente con mi ex – alumnos y nos contamos tantas anécdotas del pasado, estoy disfrutando al máximo con ellos en esta etapa de mi vida. Ellos me llenan con sus reconocimientos, halagos y expresiones de aprecio y cariño que motivan mi ego y autoestima. Expresan, que gracias a los profesores que tuvieron en su época hoy son excelentes profesionales. Nunca pensé, volver a reencontrarme, aunque sea virtualmente, con este grupo de ex – alumnos que dejaron huellas en el liceo y en mi como profesional y más aún como persona.
Es grandioso decir amigos, a los que en el ayer fueron nuestros estudiantes. En la vida se tienen cosas hermosas, pero la más bella y valiosa es la familia y los amigos verdaderos. Hoy con la pandemia podemos decir: “ la amistad verdadera es como el aire, no lo ves, pero siempre está contigo.
One of them, Profe told me: "Gratitude is the memory of the heart" and that is what I feel towards you; Today he is an excellent lawyer and he told me when he needs me, he has me and you don't pay me anything, he already pays me with his teachings and today I am what I am thanks to my teachers. This fills my heart and my life with love and gratitude for what we were yesterday, as teachers.

Uno de ellos, me dijo, Profe: “la Gratitud es la memoria del corazón “y eso es lo que yo siento hacia ustedes; él hoy, es un excelente abogado y me dijo cuándo me necesite me tiene y usted no me paga nada, ya me pago con sus enseñanzas y hoy soy lo que soy gracias a mis docentes. Esto llena mi corazón y mi vida de amor y agradecimiento a lo que fuimos en el ayer, como docentes.
