Hello Everyone 💕 💞,

During the week I was so unhappy seeing my animals not fully fed with green Vegetative Plants because we are in the dry season here in Ilorin Kwara State Nigeria and now it is massive and very tense but without any negative thought as a farmer I had to search for a very big alternative for them to survive even more than when we were in the wet season. So the other option I had was to go purchase a 100% proteinous food waste for them which I called Beans Shaft.

Nevertheless I went all out for a search and I went close to 200miles away from me and the farm as well then I saw this huge foodwaste for them.

I got all this for my rabbit farm , when I was into a little conversation with the woman into the BeansCake Production here in Offa garage area Ilorin Kwara, she further enlightened me on how to use it wisely not knowing I had a little knowledge about it before now. She said these are very good source of protein to the animals but very dangerous and must be processed before giving it out to the animals be it ruminant animal or not.

  • Spread it out into the atmosphere for a couple of days to make it dry.
  • Overdried is also welcome for preservation.
  • Use clean utensils when drying it
  • Make a provision for re-opening into the atmosphere for air breeze.

Along the line I had to make a provision for a wide spread of the beans Shaft for more air and sunshine. I poured the second nylon to fix it in as well.

This is how it looks like before it get dry , so wet and moody but it has a very pleasant smell.

It has a very high protein content in it even after it get so dried. Yes. Your animals need to consume more but you need to pass through this process before achieving your good aim and objectives.
