Hello everyone! I am a single guy living in Queensland, Australia. Since Covid-19 invaded us, my life has changed a lot. Before Covid-19, my life consisted of going indoor rockclimbing, social dancing, gym and so on. I am a big fitness finatic and I love outdoor activities such as group running and rock climbing.

However, a few weeks ago, as Covid-19 invaded us, places began to shut down. My Indoor Rockclimbing Gym and social dance classes have all closed. In order to cope with my need to exercise, I started a 30 day yoga challenge on Youtube.

All you have to do for this challenge is to do a certain amount of yoga each day that you're comfortable with. This was useful because Yoga not only was a great way to exercise, you can do it in a very small space (at home) and it is also good for relaxation and stress relief. I started with just 10 minutes of yoga. I am now on my 8th day and I'm doing at least 20 minutes each day.

You can see each of my yoga sessions in hyperlapse on Youtube:

As you can see from the above images and videos, my flexibility is pretty average, but it is slowly improving. I am making the best out of this situation. The yoga app I am using is called Down Dog - it is currently free due to Covid-19. Feel free to join me in my challenge! So far 3 of my friends have already joined me on Facebook.

The current rule for leaving your house is that you must be out for an essential reason, such as going to work, buying groceries or exercising. While exercising you can only do so with one other person or people in your household.

I ran in the morning at the park below with my mum. We walked for about 5 minutes and then I ran the rest of the way.

This park is called College's Crossing in Ipswich, Queensland. There weren't many people at the park but I still had to run off track a few times to follow social distancing rules, as you can see the in the following diagram.

As you can see in the following picture, the BBQs aren't used. Nobody is using the BBQs anymore, since you cannot be out for a non-essential reason.

In terms of work, I have been a high school teacher in Australia for 16 years. Recently I transitioned to working as the eLearning Head of Department, supporting a hundred teachers in distance learning resource creation. It is a very tiring job but I am glad to contribute to Education and fighting Covid-19.

Queensland schools have just started school holidays and the Education department is still deciding whether students will come back to school next term. If not, then we will be relying on distance learning.

Life is changing fast. As a person with Buddhist philosophies, I live in, accept and adapt to the present moment, so my life is filled with joy.
