You are viewing a single comment's thread:

When fire happened at my neighborhood, my mom saved the suitcase with important papers (house certificate, etc). Simultaneously, when I experience natural disaster as adult I need is my phone, laptop and bank statements and memorize my keys to crypto because that's where the important stuff are. The rest, I don't care :D good riddance as long as I have purchase power to buy something later when thing settles down.

hahahaha you were thinking like me when natural disasters are there. Just some money and some paperwork to get me going, and that is it...the rest is all for later and will be done!

Exactly ! not to mention, my family house got flooded when I was a kid and they lost many pictures. So nowadays we store them in cloud and printed them when needed :D and we're better with letting go memories due these frequencies of natural disasters. Another thing is that we learn to accept that we can't always save everything.

the cloud is a good one for this...and I dont know about you...but I dont watch pictures back that much actually, but I do like the timeline for instance which hive here is giving from blogging with keeping the pictures in there.

But indeed, maybe we are better in letting go. I also had furnished houses so all that stuff also was only functional and not mine. It does make a difference in all of that
