Another How Cryptocurrency is helpful post

After the caffeine kicks in, I started dumping things that have been on my brain for far too long. One of it includes my thoughts on how cryptocurrency is useful especially for people who don't live in countries where Fintech are readily available. There are points such as :

1. Fintech doesn't allow certain features work on certain countries because it's high-risk business. Basically, one bad milk spoil the rest.
2. Cryptocurreny is borderless and it doesn't judge nor generalize people in any country. Good and bad people can use its service, just like money.
3. The fees is lesser than traditional financial institution.
4. It's faster too ! [I forgot this one too] though in comparison it's only hour vs minutes but still !
5. Mass adaption is needed
   (It seems to me that cryptocurrency users are divided. Some says hold it as instrument of investment and some says use it as instrument of payment. I say : use it at your own disposal.)

Strangely, I feel deranged after doing the tweet storm on cryptocurrency. Mainly because, a) that only alleviates the stigma that cryptocurrency users are bunch of wacks trying to revolutionize the world. b) afraid that non-cryptocurrency users don't understand it, though I tried to explain in the most plain English as possible. There are still many points that I want to write especially relating to global economy and how it open doors of talent and opportunities for many people. It's so easy to overlook cryptocurrency when someone come from countries where things are more readily available. It's also complex that I don't even know how to untie the thread. It can start from within, individual level to institutional level.

I am definitely not an expert on financial institution or anything.But I believe those who work on financial institution have studied and was once a student. So, essentially, these things can be learned and meaning I can do it too. The only difference between them and me is the certification and paper that said " you are Bachelor of economic or whatever."

It opens another can of worms that our global system still put certification and degree above all else. This is it, cryptocurrency is the door to a can of worms on how the world works. It opens the door for one to see how the current system needs replacement even adjustment.

If I am putting my social justice shoes on, cryptocurrency answers the problem of the so called lack of diversity. It's already borderless , anyone can use it these days, from Venezuela to Australia. The only constrain are these regulators, who build higher fences to stop it from spreading like a wildfire. Even I won't make assumption as to why, from my readings, I read that government only wants to protect the consumer. It leads to another question,which consumer are they talking about? which people are they really protecting?

When we see cryptocurrency as means on investing, we know that there's going to be a margin of loss. Try to invest with regular money, gold, silver, there are losses too. When we use it as means of transaction, it's different. We get something for what we're paying or donating. I know, it's hard to see cryptocurrency beyond investment instrument since that's how it's marketed. But when you look at it through currency lenses and start seeing it as money, the instrument of payment, that is going to be another story.
