Photography# Horse racing at Bener Meriah
Hello Friends horse racing lovers, meet me again on this platform. Today I would like to share some photos of horse racing with all of you.
Before getting into the topic of photography, it helps me to share information in advance about this horse race. Gayo traditional horse racing is held 2 (two) times each year in Central Aceh District, which is February to commemorate the Takengon City Anniversary and September to commemorate the Republic of Indonesia Commemoration Day. In recent years in the Province of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam there has been a division of districts, namely the Regency Government. The Government of Bener Meriah Regency and Gayo Lues Regency, they also hold a Gayo Traditional Horse Race competition once a year and it is a horse from 3 (three) districts that always participate in this event.
Horse racing in Takengon has been held since the Dutch colonial era, but after harvesting agricultural products according to its history and strangely small jockeys called jockeys still sit in junior high school and when riding horses without being burdened and these horses are the result of crossing Australian horses and small gayo horses, which are aids from the local government, now gayo horses are starting to look tall and big.
And here are some horse racing photos that I took a few months ago at the horse racing stadium, Bener Meriah.
Only this information and photos that I can share with all of you. I hope you like it.
