Frosty paid us a visit

Well well well, good morning! King winter missed us over the week dumping its snow on the Alps and only rain in our neighborhood. But yesterday during the day the temperatures started dropping and the forming of ice started. I walked around a couple of times in the morning and saw some cool stuff which I had missed for a while. Ice ice baby, and she is back!

This is what I found in the morning, hardly being able to recognize the leaves in there.

Yesterday in the evening I already saw the first forming of ice in the puddles. This is the true form of a snowflake and I like it! But it was so small that if you had not paid attention to it you would have missed it entirely.

This even makes walking in the evening a lot better. Tonight they are expecting more ice so hopefully I can find some more of all of these authetic forms in nature.

As I walked around there were more and more plants that all of a sudden got a lot more form. Stuff that normally is pale and brown and green in the winter is all of a sudden so different. You have to walk around and see while it lasts.

The crazy thing to see what happened to my mailbox while it frove over. Small pieces of ice took over leaving nothing left to see from the original green color.

Two hours later everything was gone. Literally nothing was there to be seen anymore. I know what my goal for tomorrow morning I will be having. Seeing what else nature has in store for us.

We need more winter time!

Dude I would love to join, but after some Suisse two weeks of quarantaine is required here. That aint too jiffy.

But yeah...the mountains are calling indeed, i saw some nice snow pics from friends passing by
