Enjoy the Mi Caluek in Tanah Rencong

For the people of Aceh, we have a special name for food in the form of noodles without the addition of sea food or meat. We call it caluek noodles.

I myself do not understand, from m, ana the origin of this term. Or why there are caluek words that mean to enter and take by hand.

Yet for other meals that are also made by hand, there is no use of the word caluek.

Matter of taste, do not be asked again. This caluek noodles beat other noodles in fancy places. (According to my tongue anyway).

If not fasting arrives, then at my house mi caluek become mandatory food from the first day of fasting until the last day. we combine it with fruit soup.
