Kipo y la era de los magnimales/ Kipo and the age of wonderbeast (Reseña/Review)

El mundo ha dejado de ser como era, reina la naturaleza y los mutantes, animales que han evolucionado en diferentes aspectos cada uno, algunos le crecieron partes extras, otros solo se hicieron grandes, la mayoría tiene inteligencia propia, ellos ahora reinan el mundo mientras que los humanos se esconden en el subsuelo en lo que llaman Madrigueras. Kipo, una niña de 13 años se vio forzada a escapar de su madriguera por algún ataque externo, empujada a la superficie tiene que buscar la forma de regresar con su padre en este nuevo mundo post-apocalíptico.

Kipo, a 13-year-old girl was forced to escape her burrow by some external attack, pushed to the surface she has to find a way to return to her father in this new post-apocalyptic world.

Kipo y la era de los magnimales atrajo mi atención con su diseño de personajes y colores, luego de ver que era trabajo de dreamworks pude darme cuenta porque se me hacia tan similar, aunque la podía enlazar con Avatar: la leyenda de Aang por su forma de dibujo creo, no lo sé, algo me decía que podían ser hermanos estas dos animaciones. Me sorprende que este año hayan sacado dos temporadas, en enero la primera y hace este mes la segunda, pude verla en la sección de "próximamente" de Netflix y quise verla.

Lo que tengo que decir sobre esta animación es sencillo y directo, no me gustó para nada. Estuve pensando que no era la serie sino que era yo el que simplemente no me gustaba, pero no veo razón alguna para que le llegue a gustar a un niño tampoco, es una serie animada hecha para niños pero... no creo que a muchos niños le atrape la dinámica de hacerse amigos de cualquier cosa que se atraviese, creo que ya no son así, y lo digo porque tengo muchos hermanos menores.

Para mayores de 13 años, es la categoría que le pusieron a esta serie, una serie donde la protagonista, Kipo, debe atravesar un mundo que desconoce con cosas que pueden matarla constantemente pero que decide abrazarlas y besarlas a todas. No es un disgusto solo para mí, lo es incluso para los personajes secundarios y que llaman "suerte" a la habilidad de la protagonista de no morir por querer hacer el bien todo el tiempo, en la segunda temporada hablaron más sobre los padres de Kipo y la verdad pude entender porque Kipo es como es, sus padres, unos científicos reconocidos que buscan la cura para que los animales vuelvan a la normalidad pero no la usan porque... bueno, atrévanse a verla ustedes mismos.

A parte de la protagonista, las situaciones donde se salva de milagro, los momentos donde canta que veo innecesario, veo bastante obligado la idea de colocar un personaje de la comunidad LGTB en la serie animada (Y disculpen si no coloque todas las siglas que conlleva dicha comunidad) no lo digo porque vaya en contra de esta comunidad, lo digo porque el único propósito de que ese personaje sea de esa comunidad es... serlo y ya, la historia no cambia y no cambiaria si el personaje fuese heterosexual, es una inclusión que no le veo sentido, quisieron poner todos los elementos "políticamente correctos" en una serie animada, un padre afroamericano con una esposa asiática, los amigos de kipo son afroamericanos también, inclusión de la comunidad LGTB, que se resuelva con el poder del amor y la amistad y no de la lógica y sentido común.

Kipo and the age of wonderbeast attracted my attention with its design of characters and colors, after seeing that it was the work of dreamworks I could realize why it was so similar to me, although I could link it to Avatar: the legend of Aang by its shape I think I don't know about drawing, something told me that these two animations could be brothers. I am surprised that this year they have released two seasons, in January the first and this month the second, I could see it in the "coming soon" section of Netflix and I wanted to see it.

What I have to say about this animation is simple and direct, I did not like it at all. I was thinking that it wasn't the series but it was me that I just didn't like, but I don't see any reason why a child will like it either, it's an animated series made for children but... I don't think many Children are caught up in the dynamic of making friends with anything that comes through, I think they are no longer like this, and I say this because I have many younger brothers.

For over 13 years, it is the category that they put to this series, a series where the protagonist, Kipo, must go through a world that she does not know with things that can kill her constantly but who decides to hug and kiss them all. It is not a displeasure only for me, it is even for the secondary characters and who call "luck" the ability of the protagonist not to die for wanting to do good all the time, in the second season they talked more about Kipo's parents And the truth I could understand why Kipo is the way she is, her parents, renowned scientists who seek a cure so that animals return to normal but do not use it because... well, dare to see it for yourself.

Apart from the protagonist, the situations where she is miraculously saved, the moments where she sings that I see unnecessary, I see the idea of ​​placing a character from the LGTB community in the animated series quite forced (And excuse me if I do not put all the acronyms that it entails said community) I am not saying it because it goes against this community, I am saying it because the sole purpose of that character being from that community is... to be and that's all, the story does not change and would not change if the character were heterosexual, it is an inclusion that I do not see sense, they wanted to put all the "politically correct" elements in an animated series, an African American father with an Asian wife, kipo's friends are African American too, inclusion of the LGTB community, that is resolved with power of love and friendship and not of logic and common sense.

La serie contiene 20 capítulos, 10 por temporada y la duración de cada capitulo es de 23-24 minutos, pueden llegar a vérsela completa en un dia, ya que he dado mi sinopsis y mi opinión, queda en ustedes si desean verla y decirme si estoy equivocado o no.
