Current project "Morning coffee"

Today I'll share one carved last week.
A fun quick relief carved wall hanger called "Morning Coffee"

This was my wifes idea, and from a sketch she did years ago. Was scrolling through her old photos on her phone and found this picture.

It started here..with an idea

Here it is on wood, chainsaw and a little chiseling.

After some more refining..

I burned and sanded it slightly, then hit it with some black paint...airbrushed

Sanded the excess paint from the window scene..

Then started with color, this was with brush on acrylics.

Added some sunlight..

And finished off with a red flower, more light and shadow

And steem from the coffee...🤪
