"At the next full bull run, I think we need to find users across multiple disciplines and boost them to the moon and get their names out there as this will get traction"

100% this, I'm so glad to hear you say it. We need those with high amount of Steem power and following to cultivate upcoming authors and make them stick rather than just try to boost themselves. We need ton more great authors to attract readers, the word to spread and so on. It's about time Steem Power holders start acting like shareholders of a company that they are rather than just greedy cut throat capitalists in dog eats dog world, we have something unique here that people might be willing to support IF the shareholders show they can be trusted with that power.

You missed the days of 12k for makeup videos or even better 12k for parody of that same makeup video... Imagine how that looked for any serious investor. We all need to play our part and you're leading the attitudes to the right direction, in my opinion. A serious bullrun might be starting now, let's see if we can make the best out of it.

Yeah, I am glad i missed those days... BTW, where is she now? ;D

In time i believe that the real investors here will increase their supportive function. Currently, many think that having Steem power and using it to maximize personal gain is all they need do, but that'll change.

Long gone after the bull run busted if I remember right.

Makes only sense to start thinking of ways of increasing the passive income from the shares one owns.

I guess maximizing personal gains made sense before, Steem really wasn't ready for mainstream, but slowly we're getting there and should change the behavior along with it. But picking those right authors will be hard, but rewarding nonetheless. Good luck with that :)

Yep, if I remember she came back for a while but was chased off after some scamming?

Passive income from consumption sounds pretty good to me as a consumer. While I am lucky to earn what I have, I also think that is pretty incredible to think that there are many people earning from it too - hopefully while they enjoy it.

I don't think much will change from the process of other platforms in the way of earning, but what will change is the ownership of the platform itrself, and the distribution of total earnings. It is revolutionary and also very traditional, much like a co-op.

Can't remember but I wouldn't be surprised if that was the truth.

All true, originally I liked the idea for all the good it could do. After that I obviously had to face some hard truths about how the world works. But that original vision still isn't totally gone. I guess we just need time for SP to flow to the right places.
