l hereby, genuinely wanted to put my gratitude at this opportunity to join Hive-: |an amazing community| into a proper note so that it may go on file for others to see. I appreciate the responsibility that comes along with being a member.
I'll make it a duty and goal to build a productive engagement and be counter-supportive to everyone here.. regardless of their roots of origin,for we're unity. Thank you @jsalvage and @focusnow for bringing me to this amazing place. Here is a bit about me.

GET TO KNOW ME

My name is Godwin Waswa, am an 18-year old post-highschool student(pre-university). I'll be reporting to the School of Medicine in the dawn of the new year.

MY BACKGROUND

I live in one of the coolest little estates on the planet - Langata-: in the Nairobi Metropolitan, Kenya. About 100,000 population, with a small portion professionally in the general arts.The conversations in this estate are to die for! And it's beautiful, if you like gala nights and probably art galleries,great sunsets with a combination of low-key chilly weather almost all year round and a variety of well-blended native culture. It's also a serious foodie city if you're so inclined:- Great restaurants and spas!.This is a tiny corner of my world.Anyone who wants to visit?✷‿✷

PASSION AND INTERESTS

I grew up as a city lad with a passion for photography, talking to people and writing and somehow I found a way to make that into a call of duty that has allowed me to meet people who do incredible things, spend a lot of time learning about it and then communicate it to others. It is surreal at times to think how much I have come to enjoy this art.

I didn't know medicine and surgery would be my place, but a series of incredible people encouraging me really took hold. I remember when I would return to the countryside (Bungoma, Western Kenya) excited about having been on a medical trip for a couple of days and as I shared that with others, feeling like people thought I was crazy. So I started telling more about the medical side of things. The world has certainly changed in how interested people are in medical science.

Having a passion for making a chain of friends around the globe,I embraced social media as a way to connect stories and people early on and have been personally sharing my interest in Medicine since I stumbled on it. I hopped on Facebook early as a kid and attracted a fairly good mass of productive friends.

I have always had a real passion for travel. I took a year between junior and senior high school to kick back and traveled a tiny bit. I have been saving up for hike equipment and trips most of my childhood! I recently visited Mombasa and have been to a number of local states..on my pocket. The south coast (adjacent to the North Eastern horn of Tanzania) is on my bucket list.

I love the cold seasons...cold weather seems to call me up and playing video games is a major way of finding peace. Even better if I can take a break "off school" and make time for it!!😂

Yes,i reside in Nairobi and would love to have any friend visit.I derive pleasure hosting friends and playing video games at home.It feels hortative that you're more than interested in our little metropolis.

All my life if there's one thing I enjoyed most aside from playing video games and browsing the internet then is traveling, cause it's my way of expanding my experience, getting new friends and studying different cultures

Dear new member of HIVE, you have made a big mistake by signing up here. Here on this Blockchain you are surrounded by abuse of power and the greed of some who determine what happens here.

If you publish here, make sure that you publish only what is beneficial to the owners of the assets on HIVE. You must never express your own opinion or criticize anyone. If you do, the powerful will destroy your account and take every cent from you.

You will soon find out that you only earn a few cents here. Others, on the other hand, sometimes get extremely rich. Look around, you'll soon find that some people get 2 or even 3 digit $ amounts for small contributions, but you don't even get 50 cents.

Here's an example of a witness with his powerful friends called @pfunk destroying a small account of a non-profit organization and destroying all donations. He has disadvantaged and socially weak handicapped persons, seniors but also people who raise a child alone, harmed very much. Surely you do not want to support such a block chain that allows such a thing. Do you? In the contributions all data, inclusive registration with the court - address and further data are listed. You see this is an official charity.

You can read the contributions in which this witness expressed himself here. As you can see he tried to destroy the contributions, but you can still see them.

Wow! You are going to be studying medicine?

That's truly awesome. It is wonderful that you have been surrounded by people who are encouraging and wish the very best for you. You mentioned that some thought you were crazy when you shared your dream with them... Life is like that when you become obsessed with something that you must have people do not always understand that sort of commitment!

This is a fabulous first post and gives the community a chance to get to know who you are, this is incredibly important.

Learn to create posts, the cooler the better ((your first posts are your worst posts... It's supposed to be that way, right?))
Learn to create genuine engagement with others from this awesome community - This is how you WIN!
Comment, reply and have genuine conversations about what you see ((you don't need to use as many words as me it is simply not necessary ((it may even be an illness!!! 😁))
Learn gradually about the cryptosphere and blogging world - Don't rush let the learning happen in time.
Become aware of the etiquette and rules of the community, stay on the right side of the rules.
HAVE FUN!!! Maybe this should be rule one!
