My sunset

(Edited)

In radio contacto the theme chosen for the participants was to draw a sunset and write a poem.

To do this I had to see the coloring with brushes of some works that were made by users @alarconr22.arte and @betzaelcorvo to get an idea of how I could do it my way.

I present to you, my creation:

I missed clouds

They also asked us to make a poem, so this poem will be written in Spanish for them to understand.

"Debo hacer un poema pero no la he sabido cómo hacerla.
Salí y me senté por un barranco para buscar algo de inspiración
Miré ese atardecer mientras los pájaros en formación volaban para ir a descansar,
Luego recordé que si miras mucho tiempo al sol, ciego te quedaras."

To make it I did the following:

  • In one layer I divided it into 3 so that in the next one I fill each box with a color (yellow, orange and red)

  • Then I remove the first layer that has the dividing lines and in the second layer where the colors are, I used the blurry pencil or diffuser to mix nearby colors where there was separation or white spaces.

  • Then I proceeded to draw the rest of the stage with the black brush, reducing the opacity of the rest of the layers to 85% and finally I painted a sun.

You can see the processes in these gifs:

And that's it for today, Greetings! o/
