Celebrating the day with the Best Father Life could give to me and my son [EN] // Celebrando el día con el Mejor Padre que la Vida pudo darme a mi y a mi hijo [ES]
Yesterday was celebrated Father's Day in my country, and in many countries, and in my house we would not be left behind to celebrate the good work that my father has been doing with us his children and now with my son, because since he was born he has taken him as another son for him, and I even feel that he has been a better father to my Mathias than he could have been with us, and I don't mean that in a bad way, it's just that when my brother and I were at my son's age, my father dedicated his life to working tirelessly to get us ahead and give us absolutely everything, now he is retired and although he continues to work occasionally he is much more at home and can share much more time with my little boy and has even become one of his teachers.
As you can see in the picture above, my son loves to dress just like my father, he even makes me buy my father the same clothes as him, and daily he comments to me that my father is his best friend, this kind of things let me know that he is doing a good job and I am sure he is leaving in Mathias an indelible mark, and a great example. My brother and my father have become the father figure that Mathias has at home, it has not yet reached the stage where I wonder who is the person who created him, and well when that comes I will have to be honest with him and tell him who that person was in the best possible way, because I owe him to have my son with me today, despite all the things that may have happened between us.
At the beginning of last week, I told Mathias that Father's Day would be celebrated this weekend and I asked him how we could celebrate this day for daddy, so he himself selected the gifts for daddy (his best friend) and for Titi (his favorite uncle, my brother) and he was very emphatic that we could not miss a cake to celebrate the day because every celebration deserves a cake (I do not know at what point this child began to think so logically). My father and brother love barbecues, to the point that my father about 20 years ago came to have his own grilled meat restaurant, I was very happy in that restaurant hahaha; so we decided to make a barbecue with everything that came our way in the butcher shop.
To tell the truth, my brother was the one with the great idea of preparing carne asada, however, because of his Hemangioma, it was up to me to cook it, something I really love, and if it is for them with all the love in the world, well they have earned it very well. We broke the protocol we have been having regarding Covid-19 and invited some friends and my father's younger sister or as Mi Mathias says, my favorite aunt hahaha, and we shared a nice afternoon, this was something we certainly missed, sharing with family and friends.
My parents love to dance, and My Mathias enjoys watching them do this so much, I am so sorry I didn't capture his happy face watching them dance until he caught the bug and went running to dance with them. My father married my mother when he was 23 years old, he could not achieve his dream of finishing his mechanical engineering career, however, he has 3 engineering children which he always says is his greatest satisfaction, because he saw his dream fulfilled in us, he has never stopped working for his family, and like every man has had some blunders, but it has not dented him in continuing to be the exemplary father that he is today at 62 years old. I thank life for having made me his daughter, and I ask the universe every day to allow us to enjoy him for many, many more years, and in very good health.
This last year has left many people without their fathers, and others without their children, so I am sure that for many people yesterday, far from being a day of celebration was a day of sadness and tears, so, thinking of all those people who today cannot hug their fathers or even make a phone call to them, I wanted and want to continue celebrating Father's Day every day, because this man you see here, has been a father for 38 years every day. Ayer se celebró el día del padre en mi país, y en gran cantidad de países, y en mi casa no nos quedaríamos atrás para celebrar la buena labor que ha venido haciendo mi padre con nosotros sus hijos y ahora con mi hijo, pues desde que nació lo ha tomado como otro hijo para él, e incluso siento que ha sido con Mi Mathias mejor padre de lo que pudo haber sido con nosotros, y no lo digo en el mal sentido, es solo que cuando mi hermano y yo estábamos en la edad de mi hijo, mi padre dedicaba su vida a trabajar incansablemente para sacarnos adelante y darnos absolutamente todo, actualmente ya está retirado y aunque continua trabajando ocasionalmente está mucho más tiempo en casa y puede compartir mucho más tiempo con mi pequeño e incluso se ha convertido en uno de sus maestros.
Como pueden ver en la imagen anterior, mi hijo ama vestirse igual que mi padre, me hace incluso comprarle a mi padre la misma ropa que a él, y a diario me comenta que mi padre es su mejor amigo, este tipo de cosas me hacen saber que él está haciendo un buen trabajo y estoy segura de que está dejando en Mathias una huella imborrable, y un gran ejemplo. Mi hermano y mi padre se han convertido en la figura paterna que Mathias tiene en casa, aún no ha llegado la etapa en la que me pregunte quien es el ser que lo creo, y bueno cuando eso llegue me tocara ser sincera con él y contarle quien fue esa persona de la mejor manera posible, pues a él le debo tener a mi hijo hoy conmigo, a pesar de todas las cosas que hayan podido suceder entre nosotros.
A principios de la semana pasada le comenté a Mathias el fin de semana se celebraría el día del padre y le pregunte que como podríamos celebrar ese día para papito, así que el mismo selecciono los regalos para papa (su mejor amigo) y para Titi (su tío favorito, mi hermano) y fue muy enfático en que no podía faltar un pastel para celebrar el día, porque toda celebración merece un pastel (no sé en qué momento este niño comenzó a pensar con tanta lógica). Mi padre y hermano aman las parrilladas, al punto que mi padre hace unos 20 años llego a tener su propio restaurant de carne asada a las brasas, yo era muy feliz en ese restaurant jajaja; así que decidimos hacer una parrillada con todo lo que se nos atravesó en la carnicería.
A decir verdad, mi hermano fue el de la gran idea de preparar carne asada, sin embargo, por su Hemangioma, me toco a mi cocinarla, algo que realmente amo, y si es para ellos con todo el amor del mundo, pues se lo han sabido ganar muy bien. Rompimos un poco el protocolo que hemos estado teniendo con respecto al Covid-19, e invitamos a unos amigos y a la hermana menor de mi padre o como dice Mi Mathias, mi tía favorita jajaja, y compartimos una tarde agradable, esto era algo que sin duda extrañábamos, compartir con familia y amigos.
Mis padres aman bailar, y Mi Mathias disfruta tanto al verlos hacer esto, lamento mucho no haber capturado su carita de felicidad al verlos bailar, hasta que se contagió y fue corriendo a bailar con ellos. Mi padre se casó a los 23 años con mi madre, no podo lograr su sueño de terminar su carrera de ingeniería mecánica, sin embargo, tiene 3 hijos ingenieros a lo que él siempre dice que es su mayor satisfacción, pues vio su sueño cumplido en nosotros, nunca ha dejado de trabajar por su familia, y como todo hombre ha tenido algunos desatinos, pero no le ha hecho mella en continuar siendo el padre ejemplar que hoy a sus 62 años es. Doy gracias a la vida por haberme hecho su hija, y le pido a diario al universo que nos permita disfrutar de el por muchísimos años más, y con muy buena salud.
Este último año ha dejado a muchas personas sin sus padres, y otros más sin sus hijos, así que estoy segura de que a muchas personas el día de ayer, lejos de ser un día de celebración fue un día de tristezas y llantos, así que, pensando en toda esa cantidad de personas que hoy no pueden abrazar a sus padres o tan siquiera poder hacerles una llamada telefónica, es que yo quise y quiero continuar celebrando el día del padre a diario, porque este hombre que ven aquí, ha sido padre desde hace 38 años todos días. Feliz y bendecido día a todos los padres que tenemos en #Hive, Dios bendiga la excelente labor que están haciendo.
