Hello hiveans.

Tengo unos siete años viviendo en Europa, salí desde Venezuela para Irlanda donde permanecí casi cinco años bajo su extraordinario régimen climático; bueno, lo califico de sorprendente porque soy natural de una región tropical y mi organismo estaba adaptado a un patrón de lluvia y una época de sequía con precipitaciones variables durante todo el año. Así que someterme a temperaturas por debajo de los 10 °C e incluso bajo cero fue dramático y a la vez emocionante.

I have been living in Europe for about seven years, I left Venezuela for Ireland where I stayed for almost five years under its extraordinary climate regime; well, I call it surprising because I am a native of a tropical region and my body was adapted to a pattern of rain and a dry season with variable rainfall throughout the year. So to be subjected to temperatures below 10°C and even below zero was both dramatic and exciting.

Al mudarme a España el cambio fue sustancial, puedo ver luz solar y disfrutar de un clima más equilibrado. En tanto, extraño mucho a Irlanda; viví maravillosos momentos en esa genial isla. Sin embargo, extraño más a mi patria Venezuela, mis familiares, amigos, ex compañeros de estudios y majestuosos espacios naturales. El propósito de este post es dedicar su contenido a mi querida familia y amistades que se encuentran dentro y fuera de mi país natal, presento una descripción fotográfica con imágenes alusivas a momentos dichosos que he pasado; no obstante, no son mejores que los tiempos venideros.

When I moved to Spain the change was substantial, I can see sunlight and enjoy a more balanced climate. Meanwhile, I miss Ireland very much; I lived wonderful moments on that great island. However, I miss my homeland Venezuela more, my family, friends, former classmates and majestic natural spaces. The purpose of this post is to dedicate its content to my dear family and friends who are inside and outside my home country, I present a photographic description with images alluding to happy moments that I have spent; however, they are not better than the times to come.

My visits to the Irish Botanical Garden are unforgettable, the richness of plant and animal species is fascinating; exotic flowers with bright colours, insects, small reptiles, birds and others are part of the biodiversity.

La fragancia de las rosaledas perfuman el ambiente y maravillan a los visitantes.

The fragrance of the rose gardens perfumes the atmosphere and amazes the visitors.

El encanto natural de este espléndido jardín perfumó mi memoria y corazón, cómo olvidarle.

Una verdadera maravilla natural, con solo apreciar los ortostatos, piedras en forma de láminas clavadas al suelo que sostienen una lápida de mayor proporción en sentido horizontal (techo), es digno de regocijo y a la vez análisis de cómo la civilización megalítica pudo hacer los cortes y montaje de la estructura de manera casi perfecta.

A true natural wonder, with only appreciate the orthostats, stones in the form of sheets nailed to the ground that hold a tombstone of greater proportion in horizontal sense (ceiling), is worthy of rejoicing and at the same time analysis of how the megalithic civilization could make the cuts and assembly of the structure in an almost perfect way.

Cada experiencia donde se entra en contacto con una cultura e historia muy distinta a la nuestra, es motivo de emoción; al menos a mí me llena de dicha este intercambio cultural.

Ver a pocos metros de distancia, con una barrera de cristal a especies que solo había visto en televisión o películas, fue una extraordinaria experiencia que recuerdo con mucho entusiasmo.

Seeing from a few meters away, with a glass barrier to species that I had only seen on television or in movies, was an extraordinary experience that I remember with much enthusiasm.

Entrevistarme con célebres personalidades que físicamente habían desaparecido, me encantó mucho.
