Blissful Insect (Ink Drawing)

Hello Everyone. I hope you're all having a great day. Thank God the weekend is finally here!!!!..lol

I made this drawing of a butterfly on a leaf some minutes ago to be sure my exams this morning didn't take away my drawing from me. Lol. It was a tough one but was great.
The butterflies are like the only insects most humans would love to touch and get involved with. Thanks to their attractive colours and graceful wings.

I made this drawing using a black ball point pen and pelican paper.
Here are my steps;
First, I drew the outline of the butterfly and some leaves.

Next, I began shading and adding details to the butterfly. This was a pretty tough stage and I felt like stopping. Don't judge me yet..lol. Its been a very long day.

Finally, I shaded the leaves and added some more details to tge drawing until I got a satisfactory result.

PS: I signed way too far from the subject and I had to crop that part out. I'll be more aware of that in my future posts.
