Where are all the frogs?
In the little park in my hometown we have two small ponds. They used to have swans swimming there all year round when I was a kid. Now it is just ducks and frogs. And since I don't have any opportunity to shoot frogs often and they are such photogenic beasts, I took my camera with one purpose only.
Frogs!
Few days earlier as I was passing the park I heard them and it seemed like I will have so many different ones to shoot. But nope. I barely saw those two in pond number one:
All the floating white stuff is from some trees that were just finishing blooming. The water was covered in small flowers and that was probably another reason why I didn't see many of the green friends.
This one had a rough weekend :p
In the second pond which was a lot cleaner, but I still only managed to catch those two. Resting on a little dam at the end of the pond.
Rough weekend too I guess...
Did you notice how cool, lighter stripe they have on their backs? I never saw that before (or didn't pay attention). Very pretty!

And when the frogs realized that they didn't turn in to princes, they begun to drink heavily. I see you have photo evidence of that. I rest my case.

Mystery solved!
Now my question is... is the non-changing to a princess an error in a system, or an excuse to drink :p
My opinion is that the non-changing is the normal thing. But because someone heard that someone's cousins girlfriends stepsons pets caretakers greatgreatgreat grandpa supposedly turned in to a prince, that is now what every frog kissing girl and frog expect to happen.
And yes, everything is always an excuse to drink. I hear the frog that turned in to a prince is an alcoholic now. Fine wines, gold leaf booze and champagne but nevertheless an alcoholic.
But the real auestion is, what do frogs keep as pets?

But you know... you will not know if you don't try. The decision to make is if kissing frogs comes before drinking, or the other way round.
They are like cats! They own the hoomans that changed to frogs and never have been kissed.
I am now convinced that I have to go and kiss a frog.
That's what everyone thinks. And frogs stay frogs.

What beautiful photographs! surely more than a smile will have appeared trying to capture these elusive friends. I loved the fourth photo, they look like a couple of cocoa fruits, hehe. Frogs give me some grime and a lot of tenderness at the same time 🐸
Thank you! They were so cute and snugly there that I tried not to scare them. I left them just like that and kept walking :)

I've had something bad with frogs. We went camping once as a family. I felt something on my back while sleeping at night. I took that thing with my hand and threw it to the ground. When I turned on the light there was a pitch-black frog on the ground. I was a kid and really scared. :D
