How I miss the rain...
As soon as the winter and all the complaining that it just keeps raining is over and the warm weather comes, I start missing the rain. The smell of it in the air, the sound and the calmness on the streets.
The wet reflections of the street lamps and freshness of the green. Green is the best after the rain!
Now that summer is basically here I wish it was already over and fall was just around the corner with all the rains!
This was just a small fountain in one of the parks we visited. I tried to catch the drops. A small rain replacement...
The whole fountain looked so natural with stones and real plants around. Just like a small waterfall found in the wilderness.
Shaded by taller trees and with constant water flow it is a perfect place for ferns and mosses.
A little bit further away from all the spathes, where the water is still and calm, Duckweed is the king! Those plants are so tiny you can hardly see the roots. I remember as kid we could see it on the ponds near our school. And all the ducks were happy eating it.

As much as I like your rain photos, I hate rain. Ever since I worked as a postman... It has some romance in it as longs as you don't have to deliver any mail asap.
I can imagine that from this perspective it had be very unwanted. I probably would hate it too if I had no choice but go out and work in it...
This is really so beautiful. It is raining season here from where I am from now. It is mostly drought (i think it has been a drought the last three years), and the little rain we get gives things new life! I will always love the rain for this fact: that it brings (potential) new life.
We are heading to dry and hot season now. If it doesn't rain in a few weeks I might not see it until fall.
The 105mm lens is really fun to shoot with. Nice shots of the rain.

As kids we would run around the warm summer rains. Getting back home all soaked and covered in mud and grass :D
Not quite as classy as Gene, but it was fun.

Podziwiam i zazdroszczę, od 2 tygodni w Szkocji ponad 20stopni. A to jest bardzo nie naturalne dla tego rejonu. Ale dziś ide robić zdjęcia i jest na szczęście pierwszy dzień chłodniej 😎. Co do deszczu podziel się troszkę ;)
