One of the best photography tips I could get from my brother was not to shoot in the noon. Shoot in the early morning or evening. That is when the light is the best.
I went for a walk with this Helios lens during the day hoping to get the beautiful bubbly bokeh and I got a bit disappointed. Then I went again right before the sunset and... well... he is a pro for a reason I guess. The advise worked and I could see exactly what he meant. The low angle and must softer light really does the trick!
After a while only the highest flowers were lit up with the last warm light. I was right on time. Love the calm and dreamy colours.
Here is a photo I took in about the same spot but few hours earlier when the sun was up and shining bright.
The colours are awesome, the swirly bokeh is there to. But it is not the same...
Quick last shot on the way back. The summer fields are so nice at this time of the year. Maturing grain, singing birds (and tons of bugs in the air).
