Cyclicality Of Creativity

I seem to be starting to guess what my purpose in this life is. The fact is that with the help of a picture you can convey a frequency, a dimension, a different world. People do not see it live. Photography provides this opportunity. It is not for nothing that I have been saying for so many years that photographs are portals to different dimensions. You just need to feel, imagine yourself there.

The older the photo does not mean the lower frequency. The measurement in the photo is not determined by time, but by the measurement in which the photo was taken. Plus your thoughts and intentions play a role at that moment.

Now it's time to open up! Very often I am driven by a selfish goal. This does not mean that I want money, it means that I want recognition and fame. I imitate, I peep, I steal ideas. This all happens so unconsciously that it is uncontrollable.

We are what we are subscribed to in social networks. Yes, it is! If you suddenly wanted to photograph the city in the fog, then it is not you, but society imposed to you on social networks.

If you start photographing a comet, then this is not your desire: you need to support the trend! And in some case, I agree. The reporter is dependent on trends, news, HYIPs. You need to do your job, but you also need to devote time to creativity. That is why I shoot in different genres so often, it seems that I am thrown in different directions, covered with waves.

At this stage I am not connected to any wave.

I'm looking for. I don't want to shoot anything yet. This happens to me a couple of times a year.

But everything in life is cyclical and this means that soon there will be a new creative wave.

I can’t say yet what it’s going to be. Will it be some old familiar project or something new will come to mind.

I had impulses to shoot a graphic city landscape, but the greenery spoils everything. I can't even imagine how I managed to do it last year.

I also want to continue filming courtyard spaces at night. For this, the nights have already become darker, but again trees with dense foliage interfere.

Summer, I think, is a bit stagnant in terms of creativity.

I don't know what goes well in terms of summer photography. Even traveling to abandoned villages is better in spring.

In summer, you can only capture the leisurely city life in the street genre.

In summer, you can shoot sunrises and sunsets, moonrises and moonsets.

Summer is not good for serious creative projects, where color is very important, which sets the whole atmosphere!

The dense foliage of the trees covers all the most interesting.

The only plus from dense vegetation is the spotted shadows, which add abstractness to the picture.

In the summer, you can shoot something, but this is not creativity. Documentary and reportage photography stand a bit apart from art.

When I photograph, for example, courtyard spaces, then I immerse myself in the process, merge with the space, and begin to feel it. Graphics also rapture, but in a slightly different way. And in reportage photography, on the contrary, the heart turns off and the mind turns on.

In reportage photography, the main thing is a verified moment, an interesting composition or even just routine.

And sometimes I want a soul...
