I LIKE TO WATCH #16 - Southern Survival
What would you do if you were trapped inside your car during a flood? The title of this new Netflix Original Series intrigued me enough to check it out and boy am I glad I did. In Southern Survival Daniel, Brandon and the guys represent a team of lovable self-described "Rednecks" who have a great time testing outdoor gear.
Season 1 consists of eight episodes illustrating the best products to use in an emergency. You know, the kinds of things you'd need when escaping a fire or getting out of a submerged car. Some of these tools may actually save your life, as in the little gizmo used to break a vehicle window when surrounded by water.
This tiny little life-saver can be attached to a key ring, and just may save your bacon one day. My heart was pounding as I watched the deadly liquid rise above their heads. Would they make it out? Tune in and see!
The music is badass, the characters are very relatable and humor is used throughout. The effect is that you end up learning something every time you watch. Picture a slingshot used to climb a tree as if you're walking up invisible stairs! has to be seen to be believed. You'll want to take notes throughout the series in order to add items to your product list.
