It is an Oceanic Beach located on the coast north of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Vila do Conde, bathed by the Atlantic Ocean.
Praia da Azurara has a very long sand with about 1 km. It is part of the mouth of the River Ave by the South bank. The North is bounded by the entrance to the bar of the River Ave.
The dune system is present along its entire length.
The beach is very frequented by the users of the campsite, which is 200 meters away from it, and by apprentices from surf schools. In addition, there is a small boat repair company nearby.
Here, it is held the famous annual summer party, Azurara Beach Party where they play mainly techno, the party itself is called the Largest Beach party in Europe.
The beach has a good sand with fine sand and is watched by lifeguards in bathing season
It also has an amazing bar where we can spend a beautiful afternoon sunbathing or even reading a book in the pub that exists right in front of the sand and the sea.
It is a Blue Flag Beach and one of the best beaches in the village of Conde.
Its bar protects the view and the sea is practically flat with the accumulation of sand next to its bar
The area is beautiful and on days when it is sunny and the sun sets it creates a beautiful scenery.
I took these photos already in this quarantine and that's why everything looks very empty but on normal days it fills up with people to see the sunset, or even to do sports.
I hope these photos bring you more joy because it was incredible for me to leave the house a little and breathe fresh air.
Soon I hope to return to work, being at home is not being very productive and I already miss contacting people
I hope you enjoyed this little visit to Portugal even if it is virtual.
See you soon a big hug friend DREW0
