@ocd’s POSH Curation initiative has been supporting and encouraging many people on HIVE.
The initiative not only encourages people to share their posts on Twitter and Reddit to promote HIVE but curates those posts as well.
I have to thank OCD for encouraging us to share on Twitter not only because I’ve being receiving tons of support but also because it has been giving me the chance to meat very cool and interesting people on Twitter.
I have not recruited anyone to HIVE yet though. I found it is hard. There are a few that visit my blog posts but people tend to stay away from tweets with shared link. It is the same as on Facebook. I share my link on my private account but hardly get likes.
I think what I have to do is be interesting first to get people’s attention and also it is always come back to this...”Good interaction” is the key here to get people’s attention. I’m not so great at it though. I take a while to warm up to new people but in the hopes of reviving the Japanese community and to increase more variety of artists on art community I will not stop! I will keep interacting, creating and sharing my posts.

I’d have to mention that this is not my art work.
Today, I would like to introduce the portrait of my cat which was done by someone I met on Twitter recently.
It is ねこはち(Nekohachi)@maru0hachi. She is a portrait artist from Japan. She is not on HIVE yet so please don’t spam her account with “join us on HIVE!” tweet. It would probably scare her and considered annoying and rude but instead, like her Tweets.
Speaking of portrait artist, we miss you @skyleap! He had provided many of us with his wonderful portrait art works. The GIF at the end of my every post was created by him. I hope he would come back to HIVE so as many Japanese bloggers.

Anyways, as a celebration of reaching 500 followers on Twitter, ねこはち(Nekohachi) was giving away 3 portraits. I entered for it right away and Voila! I got it! Lucky me!
She does both human and animal portraits. I asked her to draw my sweet Pepper this time.
Let me share the link of her portrait shop. It is in Japanese but you can see some of her work. Pepper’s portrait is used as one of the sample portraits. Pepper is famous now! XD

HIVEで似顔絵と言えば @skyleap さんですが、またお姿見えないですね〜お忙しいと仰っていましたが元気にしているでしょうか？
沢山のHIVEブロガーさんたちがお世話になりましたよね。私も描いて頂いた似顔絵GIFを毎回使わせて頂いてます。
他の日本の皆さんもどこへ行ってしまったのでしょうね〜寂しいですよ〜

さてさて、今日紹介するペッパーの似顔絵を描かれたのは、最近Twitterで知り合った絵師さん、ねこはちさん(@maru0hachi)です。
優しい色合いで親しみやすい似顔絵を描かれているねこはちさん、存在感のあるペン画やポップで可愛いらしいイラストも描かれる素敵な絵師さんです。
今回、私が描いていただいた似顔絵は、Twitterのフォロワーさん500人を記念しての企画で、なんとラッキーな私、先着3名に入れてしまいましたwwwうふ嬉しい☺️

HIVE、Twitter、インスタのプロフィール画像をこのペッパーの似顔絵にしようと思います。少し前に新しくしようと思って挫折していたので、なんてグッドタイミング！www
ヘッダーのデザインはなんとか描き直してみようと思います。
