Hello everyone.
I have finally finished the drawing of Link. It took me over 2 weeks to complete this piece.
Well, some days, I couldn’t even get to my iPad and some days I could only work on it for 30 minutes. It was a long process but it was really fun drawing it. I hope you like how it turned out.
The link below are the last two posts about this drawing.

I added background...I don’t know the clue of how to draw backgrounds. There is always something to learn. I learned some new skills drawing this piece as well. I’m glad that I didn’t give up.
Well, my youngest daughter came to me many times while I was drawing, telling me how she liked the look of Link in the game more but my drawing looks good so it was ok.
I should probably learn to make exact copy of the original as well haha 😅

Hi @djynn great drawing! The Legend of Zelda always get my attention as nearly thirty years ago I played the game with my kids for months on end. We reached the last level but we never completed rescuing the Princess. Alone the way we became experts on all the levels.

What I remember most now is how you had to jump and then thrust down on Iron Knuckle head three times to destroy him.

Thank you!!!
I actually haven't played the game yet but my daughter tells me all about it! She just showed me the trailer of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2. She is very excited about it. Maybe I can create more fan art for her ;)

Cool Link! I recently heard of the clip studio program. Is it difficult to learn or is it the same difficulty in using Adobe Photoshop?

I'm currently using GIMP and still trying to maneuver my way through transitioning to digital art.

Thank you!!!
I switched to clip studio from MediBang a while ago. I draw on iPad so I use Procreate sometimes as well. All of these programs are fairly straightforward but I like Clip Studio the best. I haven’t try Adobe Photoshop so I can’t compare.

Interesting, I thought most users would be on default use Ibis Paint, Paint Tool Sai, or Photoshop because those programs have more mainstream use. Clip Studio is fairly new to me but haven't got my hands on the free trial, not while I'm still learning how to use GIMP. Job well done on this one and good luck to your future content!

Excellent work. I think you captured the essence of the character in this fanart. I love it.
