Aishat Yahaya is a beautiful young girl with a nice body and she has everything every young girl would desire in life. She was from a very rich home and her clothes were better than that of all her friends, her school uniforms were more than two and all new. Unlike the tattered and rough looking ones some students had. Aishat was also a brilliant student and she always came first in all her examinations with little or no stress and it started affecting her relationship with other students.

She fell short of love from her classmates because of the manner she act towards them. Her brilliance and rich background coupled with pride make people to start avoiding her, but she seems not to be bothered anyways. She has everything she needs, so no need to be worried about people not liking her.

One day, Sandra, one of her classmate and close friend advised Aishat to stop acting the way she does and be more friendly and respectful. This got to the bad side of Aishat and she took an offense and vowed never to talk to Sandra again. She claimed Sandra was forming an alliance with other people to hunt her down.

Fast forward to the end of the term, examination was about to commence when Aishat was hospitalized due to a serious illness. She spent about a week in the hospital and noone came to visit her from her school, be it teacher or student. This got her mother curious and asked if she doesn't have friends. She could not speak, because she knows what she has done. In annoyance, her mother went to the school to challenge and express her displeasure to the management of the school about them not visiting or even calling to ask about the absence of her daughter.

The management explained to the mother with the class teacher being the spokesperson about the rude attitude she exhibits in school. All these comments made her mother feel disappointed. She apologized to them all about her behavior and promised them she would make sure she change.

The moment Aishat saw two of her teachers and three students coming she was ashamed and covered her face. She apologized to them and they hugged. After some weeks, she got better and resumed back to school. She later apologized to her classmates and also told them about the benefits of having friends and not being proud. She let them know that she has learnt her lessons and she's deeply sorry.

In conclusion

It is not a good thing to be proud. It makes people to distance themselves from us. It pays to be humble. Don't be like Aishat.

Thank you for your time lovelies.
