Beads is a traditional jewelry common in Africa and in Nigeria and it is commonly worn by women to compliment their elegance and beauty.

Beads are so unique and beautiful when worn the right way.

Come to think of it, beads can be worn in almost every part of the body.

From the head to the neck to the waist (which is where most ladies wear it nowadays), wrist, finger, belly button, and ankle.

For those that understand what beads are they get their heads turned when they see someone who beautifully adorns it.

The people of Edo, in Nigeria are fondly known for their love of beads, coral beads during their traditional weddings. Their traditional wedding will be incomplete and not memorable if the bride and groom are not dressed in beads. The coral beads have a glossy look and brides always long for their big day to rock this beauty. The beads are made into a headpiece known as okuku, hand bead known as ivie-egbo, neck piece known as ivie-uru and earrings known as emi-ehorivie.

Waist beads is also renowned among young ladies in Nigeria and it mostly concealed under their garments. It is often shows the feminity of a woman and how confident a woman is in herself.
