Today's dream: "Hagrid and Reed!" a short scene trio

(Edited)

I was a spectator throughout this dream. This added to the bizarreness of it.

In the first scene, I was standing at the end of an enormous disorderly bedroom, looking at 2 beds, one to the right and one to the left. Two men were there, one on each bed, and I could not see their features yet. They were tucked in, sleeping well, and it was al cozy. Suddenly, the door opened and a blond woman with a whip came in. She started hitting the beds, making them wake up, yelling profanities. When they finally woke up, I saw that one was wearing a white shirt and the other a grey one, simple pajamas. It was a boring scene, so I kinda skipped it.

The next scene was in the hallway next to the stairwell. One of the men had grabbed the woman and was holding her against the handrail (5-metre free fall if dropped from there) with his left hand and punching her with his right hand. The other man was also holding her, but with his right hand, and punching her with his left hand. It was a very violent scene, the woman was screaming and the men were simply punching her nonstop.

Rewind time

At this point, I was in disbelief. What had happened? I had not paid much attention. I sat back on a chair. Apparently I was in a dark room watching security cameras with another person. I pointed at the screen and gestured to go back to the first scene. I was in the room again, the blond woman was whipping the two men out of bed. I skipped forward until the first scene ended to see what had led to the beating.

The woman was now on the bed to the left, sitting behind a shirtless fat man. She had some kind of sharp plastic blade with a pointed tip. Like so:

The man's back was like a restaurant's menu, except the dish names were names of women. The format was like this:

Samantha Johnson______________$72
+1 (605) 997 4280

Tiffany Lopez_________________$89
+1 (312) 287 5072

Jackie Harrison_______________$41
+1 (434) 799 0014

The blond woman was going name by name through this silvery-grey tattoo on the man's back, reading each name out loud with excitement. She was stabbing him with the knife on each name she read. I didn't know if this was a directory of prostitutes or what, but it sure was weird. Then, when she reached the last item on the list, it was "Hagrid & Reed!", and she yelled the name as if it were the most exciting thing in the world. I noticed that it was strange that it broke the single-name pattern, and I imagined that this couple (Hagrid and Reed) was like the couple at the restaurant on Pulp & Fiction.

I had no idea what any of this meant, but I found it to be fun. Until the scene ended and the next scene came again, and the woman was being held and punched by the two men. I didn't solve my mystery and only added one extra mysterious scene to the bunch.

@cryptosharon, Dream Analysis is real fun and in a way it reflects the Imaginative, Creative and Time Travelling Power of Subconscious Mind. Stay blessed.

Well, I wish my mind were able to travel in time through memories and access the unseen. :D Instead I seem to have a hopelessly skimpy long-term memory. Stay blessed. :)

So interesting! I found myself wanting to interpret this as I read, but then just let it flow into an entertaining story.

Thanks for sharing and thanks for ulogging.

Did you fill your steem order yet? Are you a dolphin now?

Yeapp! Look at my wallet :P It stills feels kinda lacking due to the currently low price of Steem, but my goal is upward and on!

And I wanted to interpret it too, but it's hard. If I had to pinpoint the focus, I'd say it's on the violence between genders and the "relationship consumerism" of modern society. It was a very shocking dream for sure, and not one in any of the topics was something I even imagined ever dreaming about.

I stopped trying to figure it out when I realized that I don't know what "blond women" represent to you.

I could be violence between genders, but it could also be what we think is reality vs what we think is real.

Still, I enjoy reading your dreams.

And congrats on the crypto. Even at these prices, with your blogging and your curating, it pays a high interest rate - as long as the price doesn't topple...

Well, I hadn't thought of it, but you're right to hesitate. We don't have many blond people here in Venezuela, and I don't watch much media with blond people. When I think of a blond woman like the one in my dream, the people who come to mind are Skyler White, Leslie Knope, and other similar TV characters. And even then, I don't know what they would represent. The characters are very different from each other.

And yeap, as long as the price doesn't go down by a lot, our annual interest rates are super high compared to traditional investments just from curation. The blogging part would be a different investment (time put in), and it's less than regular work payment. Still, I do it in my free time (which right now happens to be all the time), so it's something where there would be nothing otherwise. I get to enjoy, keep a dream diary, write stories, share with friendly people, and I also get coin, it's win-win-win!

That's one of the things I love about Steem. People in "normal" social networks usually take their time for granted. "Free time is not remunerated," they think, but it is. It's just that the money made from these pastime activities is not going into their wallets but into that of the company hosting them (Facebook, Reddit, etc.). On Steem, we have the ability to take back our free time's worth.

Sadly, most people don't make the cents given by small votes on their comments. It all becomes dust unless you have something like @dustsweeper (I do) and have a way to recover the super small votes. This means I can only reward 1 or 2 comments a day (like I just did yours :-P) if I want the rewardee to get something. Smaller free-time rewards :C Unless they post and I can give the vote on their post! But then it loses a bit of the interactivity of having the vote show up on the comment being rewarded.

I use dustsweeper too! Love their service.

I guess not all dreams are meant to be interpreted, some are just meant to be enjoyed (or marveled at).

I am hoping that 5 years from now, I will be happy about putting my money in here. For now, I recognize that while I did buy some steem over today's price, it is the only "savings" account that I have. All the money I save in fiat tends to go to the wayside.

What does it mean "to go to the wayside"? Gets used up? I also use up all of my fiat and SBD and I can only save in SP because it takes effort to power down. I had to buy a lot of SP in order to save. Steem has been helping me learn about how to plan for the future. I used to earn a lot before but I used it all up because I didn't know how to save.
