Fantastic work this week everyone! We really got out there and engaged with so many people. I know I’ve met new people every time I’ve done it!
I’m also pumped that I made top 10! Made more comments than I realized lol don’t know if I could ever get to number one but I’m liking the ranking I’m at now!

Top ten, Nice! It's amazing how you get incrementally more effective when you put your mind to something isn't it?
The beauty of this as you said, meeting people who are out there whom you simply didn't know existed. So many of us exist in circles that somehow, inexplicably never seem to cross paths with eachother. There are geuine real friends to be made out there we just need to stretch that little further, reach that little higher to find them. 😎

It is remarkable how much one can do when they aren't constantly playing Splinterlands LOL I was quite addicted for a while. I still play daily but I limit it to only getting my daily stuff done before I move onto getting back to the engagement and finding peoples content!
I think I met some of my closest friends on here just going through things and looking for people to interact with. The skateboarding community has been really key for a lot of people and I wouldn't have found it (even though I'm a former skater myself) without getting out there and looking for content to check out. I bet if we all did this from time to time instead of just our personal feeds, we could do so much more!
It's really great finding people from certain countries that seem to be popular with Hive. This past week has been Bulgaria and a consistent pattern these past few weeks is Nigeria. I think that's really awesome!
I also interact with many people through Discord communities and find this to be a recurring theme. I think sometimes when so called real life is not treating us well or we find ourselves in a strange place, it's nice to jump online to people who have no knowledge of where we are in our head-space and just chat away.
Sometimes we end up chatting away abut life, work family and stuff and actually see a tangible cathartic benefit from it. Either way I have a number of real friends I have met due to the blockchain many of whom have indeed transitioned to real life friends too.
You are spot on about getting out there and finding groups who align with your interests and your values... They are not gonna just happen along and find you, strange how we humans complicate stuff, right?
Yes!!! That's a biggie for me, I love interacting with a truly global community and have gotten insights in to life in every corner of the planet through the things people share here.
