La recreación y el tiempo en familia es fundamental en momentos de crisis, ver la felicidad a través de los ojos de un par de niños no tiene precio. Puede que la pandemia nos limite más de lo esperado más sin embargo, siempre debería existir ese momento, ese espacio para estar cerca de nuestros seres amados; dedicarles algo de tiempo y regalarles un poco de felicidad.

El día de hoy he decidido no pasarlo frente al ordenador, salir de mi zona de confort para dedicarles tiempo a mis dos hijos, y es que ver sus ojos brillar apenas tuvieron contacto visual con el mar, es algo que me llena y reconforta el alma. Puedo afirmar que ellos son una fuente valiosa de mi inspiración, son el ingrediente perfecto para una obra de arte.

Decidimos armar las maletas, tomar un autobús a la primera playa que nos llevara y brindarles ese momento que tanto les hacía falta. Muchos pensaran en la felicidad como ese momento en el que logras tus metas, te llena y te reconforta lograr tus objetivos, otras personas quizás la consigan entre sus objetos más valiosos pero no cabe dudas, la felicidad la alcanzo al ver a esos seres que amo siendo felices, poner un granito por construir una sociedad mejor, sin prejuicios, sin distinciones.

Son las cosas más simples, esos momentos inesperados; los que realmente traen plenitud al alma. Mirar al cielo y darse cuenta que en su infinito azul que se vuelve uno con el mar, eres uno entre miles de millones, y aun así, eres tan único/a como todos los que te rodean.

Y es que sólo basta un par de segundos para darnos cuentas de que no estamos solos, de que nunca lo estaremos por muy difícil que sean las circunstancias. Como padre me he vuelto más hijo, me han enseñado sobre la individualidad como la cooperación o trabajo en equipo, como individuos tenemos tanto fortalezas como debilidades que nos hacen ser lo que somos, como individuos podemos promover grandes cambios siendo fuente de inspiración para otros. Como sociedad, unidos todos por un bien común llevamos a su máximo exponente todas esas capacidades y habilidades propias de nuestro ser, trabajando en equipo para forjar un mejor futuro, un futuro para las generaciones venideras. Esto y muchísimas cosas más, las he aprendido en mis casi 10 años como padre, un camino de acierto y desaciertos, de alegrías y preocupaciones, de llanto y de regocijo.

El día comenzó con un despejado y hermoso cielo azul, una playa con sus aguas cristalinas y pocas personas disfrutando las bondades del sol así como de la cálida temperatura del agua, estimo que no estaba menos de 30°C (sólo hago suposiciones), sin duda los niños si que la disfrutaron y por supuesto no me quedo atrás. Pudiese agregar que la estadía estuvo bastante amena, personas agradables alrededor y un clima como rara vez he solido encontrar, el sol estaba como diría, no muy caliente :), mientras los niños iban y venían de la orilla de la playa, tomábamos el sol ocasionalmente y luego nos refugiamos a la suave sombra que nos brindaba cobijo.

Nuestro día de playa finaliza con un rico almuerzo, un baño y un viaje cómodo de retorno a Caracas, los niños han drenado toda su energía este día en el agua y la arena. Si le colocara color a mi sentir el día de hoy estaría entre verde turquesa y azul cielo, un día con mucha paz y claro está, conmovido con la felicidad que mis hijos aportan con cada ocurrencia que viene a ellos.

Ya de regreso a casa pasamos a la tienda por algunas cosas para culminar el día con una cena "diferente". Poco minutos después de cenar ya estando frescos y con ropa apropiada para la siesta, ambos cayeron en los brazos de Morfeo jajaja, como rocas terminaron en su cama y ya puedo decir que hoy fue un estupendo día que me ha dejado bastante satisfecho con mi existencia. Si me permitieran elegir que día morir, sin duda alguna desearía fuera en un día como hoy.

Tenía un buen tiempo deseando conseguir una Malta en esta presentación, para acompañar unos buenos perros caliente está genial. No podría haber terminado mucho mejor este día, ahora sí puedo morir en paz. Pero que va, esta comunidad ahora es que me verá por aquí con más frecuencia jajajaja, he descubierto que está genial para mostrar mi trabajo así como estos momentos especial que deseo guardar para la posteridad.

Recreation and family time is essential in times of crisis, seeing happiness through the eyes of a couple of children is priceless. The pandemic may limit us more than expected but nevertheless, there should always be that moment, that space to be close to our loved ones; dedicate some time to them and give them a little bit of happiness.

Today I have decided not to spend it in front of the computer, to get out of my comfort zone to dedicate time to my two children, and seeing their eyes shine as soon as they had visual contact with the sea, is something that fills and comforts my soul. I can affirm that they are a valuable source of my inspiration, they are the perfect ingredient for a work of art.

We decided to pack our bags, take a bus to the first beach that would take us and give them that much needed moment. Many will think of happiness as that moment when you achieve your goals, it fills you and comforts you to achieve your goals, other people may get it among their most valuable objects but there is no doubt, happiness is achieved by seeing those beings I love being happy, put a grain to build a better society, without prejudice, without distinctions.

It is the simplest things, those unexpected moments; the ones that truly bring fulfillment to the soul. To look at the sky and realize that in its infinite blue that becomes one with the sea, you are one among billions, and yet, you are as unique as everyone around you.

It only takes a couple of seconds to realize that we are not alone, that we will never be alone, no matter how difficult the circumstances may be. As a parent I have become more of a child, I have been taught about individuality as well as cooperation or teamwork, as individuals we have both strengths and weaknesses that make us who we are, as individuals we can promote great changes being a source of inspiration for others. As a society, united for a common good, we bring to its maximum exponent all those capacities and abilities of our own being, working as a team to forge a better future, a future for the generations to come. This and many more things I have learned in my almost 10 years as a parent, a path of successes and failures, of joys and worries, of tears and joy.

The day began with a clear and beautiful blue sky, a beach with crystal clear waters and few people enjoying the sun and the warm water temperature, I estimate that it was not less than 30°C (I only make assumptions), no doubt the children enjoyed it and of course I am not far behind. I might add that the stay was quite pleasant, nice people around and a weather as I have rarely found, the sun was as I would say, not too hot :), while the kids came and went from the shore of the beach, we sunbathed occasionally and then we took refuge in the soft shade that gave us shelter.

Our beach day ends with a nice lunch, a swim and a comfortable ride back to Caracas, the kids have drained all their energy this day in the water and sand. If I were to put color to my feeling today it would be between turquoise green and sky blue, a day with a lot of peace and of course, moved with the happiness that my children bring with every occurrence that comes to them.

Back home we went to the store for some things to finish the day with a "different" dinner. A few minutes after dinner and being fresh and with appropriate clothes for a nap, both fell into the arms of Morpheus hahaha, like rocks they ended up in their bed and I can already say that today was a great day that has left me quite satisfied with my existence. If I were allowed to choose which day to die, I would definitely wish it was on a day like today.

I had a good time wanting to get a Malt in this presentation, to go with some good hot dogs it's great. Couldn't have ended this day much better, now I can really die in peace. But what the heck, this community now is that you will see me around here more often hahahaha, I have found it to be great for showcasing my work as well as these special moments that I wish to keep for posterity.
