Bees and their Importance for the Reproduction of the Ecosystem 🐝

This simple photograph captured with my phone reflects a fundamental process for the maintenance of life on earth.


I am talking about pollination. This simple process that consists of transferring pollen from the male to the female organs of the plant; It can be done directly on the flower or indirectly between two flowers or through insects such as bees, they have hair covered their bodies, they collect thousands of pollen granules when they land on the flower, visiting only one species of flower during each of the trips and collecting enough for their food and for the needs of the colony, in a single day they can visit thousands of flowers collecting nectar and pollen spreading the granules on the flowers, performing this important function within of the ecosystem giving rise to fertilization leaving the trail of one flower to another.

Thanks to them for the significant role they play in the ecosystem, causing food production and biodiversity. Friends how an essential process for humanity is hidden in a beautiful photograph.
